I have been going there for decades and the food is always fresh and fantastic. In my younger days we bought cups of clam chowder and sat outside. now I prefer to dine there.

During a beach tour with the Anaheim Tour Company we visited Newport Beach. This seafood restaurant in the area came highly recommended to me via Tripadvisor reviews and a local retailer. We shared a soft shell crab as an entree. For mains I had the...More

We arrived at about 6 pm on a Saturday and were immediately seated. We'd had a late lunch, so we weren't very hungry, but we didn't want to miss this old crab house. We only had two things, so I probably shouldn't be writing a...More

This place is so unique like the location. OK the plates the ustensils and the glass look so cheap, but the seafood is authentic, i have been there so many times and it is always the same good seafood. Sometimes it is good to see...More

The crab legs were delicious. The crabcakes were slow cooked then fried and mushy. Ew. Florida crab cakes are much better. The atmosphere and servers were wonderful. It's small and cute.

Always a fun visit to this landmark restaurant. The food (swordfish) was so so good. We both had it with the rice and coleslaw. The wait staff is fast and friendly. The restaurant feels like an old fishing village cafe - oh wait, that is...More

We ate the scalops and shrimps skewer and it was very yummy. Good portion and good price! The waitress was very nice, I asked her tap water like 5 times. The plase is odds with many strange objects but still very characteristic. Probably the best...More

Crab Cooker is an institution on the peninsula. My parents took me there when I was a wee one and we now go whenever we have some extra cash for fish. There can be a line, so grab a free jawbreaker and wait outside in...More

Don't let the outside fool you, don't let the crowded tables fool you when you first walk in, don't let anything fool you into not having lunch here! I had the tomato based clam chowder and it was to die for. I found out after...More

You can ask to ensure it is not included. I do not believe any pork is added.

Not the best for a surf & turf. I would recommend Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach for that. It's a fantastic place and has a little it of everything.
