At 1st we wanted to go to Juicy's right across street from our motel but they had two busloads of soccer teams they were feeding and couldn't probably get to us real soon. We were hungry so we went to 2nd choice which was the Wagon Wheel, less than a block from Juicey's. We both enjoyed our dinner and the... More

Breakfast was good and was just as specifically ordered. Service was a little slow but worth it. Nice country feel to the inside,

This small town, rural California on one of the major routes between AZ and CA probably has limited choices. I know this sounds snarky, but the food is about what you would expect from the exterior... country food, nice service, not expensive, and not all that great ( though not actually bad)

We stopped by here while travelling RT 66. Man, was that a good decision. The place looks like it hasn't changed in 30 or 40 years. It wasn't run down or anything - just had the old decor. All the food was hot and fresh. I'm usually not much on vegetables, but the green beans were crazy-good! I could've made... More

This place was recommended to us unfortunately there was a motorbike rally on and the place was packet the server was rushed off her feet so although we waited a very long time we understood the food was actually really good I had a chicken and blue cheese salad and hubby beef skillet which he enjoyed.

This place has been our go-to place for years when in Needles, CA. You can't miss with their chicken fried steak and country gravy. The best coffee in the area. Truckers seem to like this place as well. An old restaurant with lots of eye candy and antiques adorning the walls and there is also a gift shop.

We ordered breakfast out and was very pleased to see huge helpings. The Denver Omelet was great and the biscuits and gravy, as well. No canned pre-made gravy here. Hash browns were just the right crunchy golden brown. Loved the decor... fits the Route 66 theme.

There aren't many choices in this area. This place was okay. Food is basic heavy American. Service was fine, and friendly.

Thank Andrew R
