Farm is a fine dining restaurant serving Contemporary Californian cuisine located in Napa Valley. This was my first time eating there. In terms of options, the menu offerings are extensive, Menu options can be done family style, for $68 per personRegarding quality and presentation of food, the restaurant offerings were excellent. We went for brunch and some of the menu items I tried included the lobster roll, avocado toast, and kaluga caviar which were all amazing. Everything was cooked to order. Portion size was appropriate for the price point and restaurant style. Customers can expect to pay over one hundred per person, including drinks. Beverage wise, we stuck to mimosas – the lavender option was my favorite. During this most recent visit, we did make reservations in advance, and it took approximately 5-10 minutes to be seated. Drinks came out fast. Appetizers came out fast. Main courses came out fast. It was a beautiful setting and when we finished eating, we roamed around the vineyard for a bit. It was breezy and sunny and truly a delight. The serving staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I’d best describe the atmosphere of the restaurant as being sophisticated yet relaxed. Regarding ambiance, the restaurant is naturally lit and the noise level is average. It is a good choice for young adults or couples. Scale wise, tables are appropriately spaced within multiple dining rooms, and there is a large cathedral ceiling with a living room style seating, lending itself to the restaurant’s awe inspiring, yet inviting feel. Overall, I would recommend and anticipate coming back again.

A beautiful setting in the heart of Carneros, Farm is at once wine county rural and sophisticated. Excellent service contributed to a pampered vibe. While the food presented well and tasted good, I had hoped for a little more imagination at this price point. The amuse bouche was the exception: a marinated melon with a flag of spec flying, it was tasty and visually interesting. For a first course, I enjoyed oysters and my wife had the tomato consume, both excellent dishes. The tomato consume is created by hanging fresh tomatoes and straining them with cheese cloth. If you haven't tried it, it is a special treat. For our second course, we shared the little gem salad, and things went a bit off track. The dish featured whole little gem lettuces with rubbed in toasted hazel nuts and a greenish dressing that was notably on the tart side. While the toasted nuts were nice, the whole lettuce was too dense and was off putting. I was tempted to deconstruct the lettuce. That probably would have helped. My main course was also disappointing. The beef was perfectly cooked, but with only 2 slices (about 4 to 5 oz), it was disappointing size for the $47 price. My wife had a very creamy risotto with a corn foam, peas and bacon that she really enjoyed. To my taste, the rice was too mushy and not al dente asI prefer. The wine list was was extensive and we found a nice Zin that paired well with the meal. Our waiter consistently showed up to pour our wine, a dying art even in wine country. This old school touch was refreshing.

I liked the idea of this restaurant. The food was fairly good. Overpriced (but in line with Napa pricing). The bartenders were very good and mixed up some great cocktails. Our waitress wasn’t the greatest. Our table shared two $108 steaks and some appetizers. For that price I expect a more knowledgeable and enthusiastic waitress. She was friendly enough but the tip that she was going to get off our bill should have warranted better service on her part. Maybe I’m just old school like that. They had a cigar list on the desert menu. We ordered a few cigars. They were dry and terrible quality.

This is nice restaurant and LOVELY resort. We only stayed one night and booked dinner at Farm - the resort’s recommendation as we explained we had four children (11-16). The menu was “adventurous” (but perhaps unnecessarily so) , the food cooked well enough (this is not meant in positive terms), but the price….. that was eye watering. Meal for 6 (inc 1 child choosing from children’s menu), soft drinks and one (average/low end of price scale) bottle of wine, no appetisers was £720+/ $780 The service was great i must admit. We have eaten at some of the best, high quality, and arguably famous restaurants around the world but have never felt so underwhelmed at price/value!!! Really Carneros?? I appreciate were in the Californian wine area but I was in such shock I couldn’t even begin to debate the expense and value with the staff - to be fair it should be for them to debate. Think carefully before booking

Grilled Spanish Octopus and the mushroom pasta with a significant amount of sliced truffles were the highlights. Yes it’s expensive but for an occasional splurge it’s a great deal. Plan on a laid back fantastic two hours meal.

This restaurant is so bad, I don’t even know where to start. Their inside had been closed, so I called a week in advance to see if it was open and whether we would be able to sit inside, I was told on a voicemail that it was re-open, and we would be able to sit inside. When we arrived, they didn’t have any table available. They had no notes that they had told me I could sit inside and then they kept us waiting. 35 minutes for an outside table. When we complained to the manager, he completely made light of it and told us how amazing the food was. He never came back to check on us, or offered to do anything to compensate for the bad experience. The food is no better than the service. We ordered a trout that was swimming in butter. If your ingredients are top quality, you don’t need to put fish in a butter bath. We had a pasta that was better, but not fine dining. Once we finally sat down, it took over 20 minutes for a server to come over. This place has serious work to do. There’s so many good restaurant in Napa, and this is not one of them.

Came here with the family for Christmas dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it for a lovely evening. The place is beautifully decorated for the holidays, and the food was amazing. We had someone in our party with a peanut allergy, and the staff did a great job ensuring that everything was safe to eat. They all were attentive and friendly, especially our main waitress who I think was named Jorda, and they made our whole evening even more enjoyable! I am definitely going to bring more people back here! Best of all, we were a little early for our reservation, so we hopped across the path to Post at Carneros (on the same property and literally on the other side of the yard from FARM), and we had a quick glass of wine there. WOW! That was amazing. The host, Roxanna was so knowledgeable and friendly. We were three different parties who were all seated at shared tables, and she did such a great job of making everyone feel welcome and including everything in the conversation. She was hands down the best part of the whole experience at Carneros. You need stop by, taste their wine and chat with this lovely person. There is also outdoor tables if you want to sit in the beautiful garden and enjoy wine out there. It's also dog friendly!!

It just doesn’t get any better than The Farm at Carneros. Be prepared for a visual and tastebud bonanza. We now know what all the buzz is about. Talk about farm to table - should be front grounds to table. The freshest greens and root vegetables. The Farm brings lobster risotto and gnocchi to another level, and the potato tostones are a must. Addictive. And save room for desert. Our favorite was a chocolate fudge-type bar with burnt sugar/ caramel sauce with coffee ice cream and dollops of mousse, with more caramel Can’t forget to mention the chef’s homemade buster - which was served with our rosemary bread. It had caramelized honey and salt sprinkled on it. TO DIE FOR! Thank you to the entire Farm team for an unforgettable evening.

We went on Mother's Day. There were 4 adults and 1 children. When making the reservation we were told we could select from a regular or prefixed menu. Upon arrival we were informed that only prefixed menu was available. Due to it being Mother's Day we stayed. The menu selections were not desirable. Nevertheless, our tab was $600+; the tip was included. We didn't take leftovers because we didn't like the food. Out of all the appetizers/entrees, the lobster roll and 3 slices f beef were the only menu items that were eaten. We left the restaurant and ordered dinner from another restaurant. That tab was $60. No one should pay hundreds of dollars for an I desirable meal. The Farm was horrible on a special day.

Nice ambiance, service is pretty good and the food are good as well. We always come here when we stay at the Carneros Inn. Convenient and not too bad! Their beet salad is too acidic. It tasted yucky! The chef needs to put less balsamic. Definitely a must when staying in the premises.

My husband and I visited Napa last week from Nashville; we had dinner here last week with friends visiting us from SoCal. The Great: The hotel/restaurant/outdoor space is beautiful and so inviting. We sat on the patio, lovely grounds, comfy chairs, so so happy to be there. The food was terrific, beautifully presented and yummy. The Terrible: We had a 7:00 p.m. reservation and as soon as we sat down, a singer/guitarist in the outdoor bar started playing/singing with both his voice and his guitar fully miked. Not only was the music LOUD to the point you couldn't have a conversation, but it wasn't pretty dinner music. There were maybe 5 people in the outdoor bar in total at the height, and 50?? people on the patio having dinner. We were told he would wrap up at 9:00 p.m. which he did -with NO ONE in the bar at that point. What is the hotel thinking?? And he apparently doesn't play on Friday and Saturdays. We purposely stayed later than planned just so we could enjoy the quiet and have a conversation. The other disappointment was the service - SO very, slow; when dishes were brought out, not in the right order, etc. You cannot be in a hurry (which we weren't) if you eat here. Clearly the restaurant is waaaay understaffed. Would we come back? Not sure - I'd call ahead to see if there was going to be live music outside or not. Such an easy fix.

My cousins and I ate here for a work anniversary. Parking was a challenge. And the lot was dusty. We arrived early and were able to walk around and take pictures. We were also able to be seated early even with a reservation. There was ample waiting areas to sit and relax. We wanted outdoor dining but ended up being seated indoors. I still felt okay not wearing a mask seated indoors. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our brunch was delicious. The four items we selected were enjoyable.

Farm is located within Carneros Spa and Resort. The venue is beautiful. We ate on the patio. Justin was our server and did an amazing job. He was attentive, offered very good suggestions, but never hovered. He had great timing! The drinks were delicious from a cocktail, to sparkling wine, to a simple soda. The food was excellent. I had the Tortatelle. It has great flavor and I paired it with Leviathan wine at the suggestion of Justin. It did not disappoint. My friend had the roasted chicken paired with their Pinot Noir, again a suggestion from Justin that was spot on. My wife wanted something light. She ordered a light fish meal that was delightful. My other friend has the lamb and it was amazing. We wrapped up the evening with the donut/chocolate mousse with a couple of espresso martinis. Great way to end the meal. It was a lovely experience and meal.

The food and atmosphere were perfect for a birthday dinner. A little pricey but in line with similar restaurants in Napa. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Napa. Try the risotto! Our food looked so good we scarfed it down before we could get a picture!

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant on our first night in town. The service was great and the food was delicious. The seating arrangement was well done despite being outside. The portions were a tad small bt again, we enjoyed our dishes.
