About
The Napa Valley is steeped in sunshine, flavor, and beauty. A simple yet sophisticated place, it's always been about great food and great wine -- no fuss. In the springtime, the mustard flower blooms and covers the Valley floor in a carpet of yellow. When the restaurant was being built, it was this carpet that inspired the name Mustards. Since opening in 1983, Mustards Grill has been serving farm-to-table fare that celebrates the flavors of our California home. Award-winning chef Cindy Pawlcyn has crafted a menu of favorites, using ingredients from our own garden or curated carefully, with an eye towards continuing to be a “localvore.” Join us for a glass of blue chip wine and a dish made to

Mustards sits in the center of the Napa Valley Wine Country, so it is very convenient for having a bite in between estates. The service is phenomenal and the menu quite extensive. Let me assure you that it is all good! A warning-- the French...fry, onion ring, and cole slaw servings are huge and delicious. Extensive wine selection available.More

We spent 3 days in Napa and tried several different restaurants highly rated and with famous chefs with disappointments until we got to Mustard Grill. Finally, we got restaurant with delicious food, great service and beautiful view of their garden. We got table outside. They...put gas warmers outside for chilly evenings and have red tent above that makes area look cute. Many flowers around. Nice decor inside as well. The service was great, no complaints. They food was delicious, decent portions and reasonable prices. We had roasted eggplant with peppers soup. It had little extra pepper kick, creamy and delicious. For main course we ordered slow cooked pork sandwich and pork chop (their specialty). Sandwich was with delicious bbq sauce (little spicy, sweet and sour). Pork chop was moist, soft and covered with honey mustard sauce that was to dye for and on a site sour red cabbage cooked perfectly, still crunchy and had sweet-sour taste. Perfectly cooked and well balanced spices. We were totally happy with our dinner.More

My husband and I chose to dine outside next to the gardens. Our server was attentive, personable and shared her experience about working in a nurturing environment. We had heirloom tomatoes for our starter, freshly picked just an hour before opening from the tomato bed...next to our table. I had the fish tostada and my husband had the meatloaf. Both entrees were delicious! Every bite of my tostada was fresh, full of flavor and satisfying.More

We have been coming to the Napa valley for 30+ years and Mustards is always a must stop. This time we were a party of 4 for lunch. With masks back in place, we were seated immediately. From their massive wine list we found a...very nice Chablis for $59. (I know, we are in Napa.) We started with a huge dish of onion ribbons served with a delicious homemade ketchup. This is a dish that must be shared! We can recommend every dish we had-the adult grilled cheese sandwich, the mac & cheese, the mushroom soup, two different salads, and a very large lamb burger. The service was top notch, as always. If you are visiting Napa, make sure to make at least one stop at Mustards.More

We never miss dinner or lunch at Mustards on our yearly trip to Napa. They offer a great variety of food with specials each day. Their onion rings are my favorite. Styled after a Truck Stop with great food and service. We always get to...our table ontime with our reservation. The choices are from soups and salads to sandwiches to big entrées. The deserts are a must have if you have room after your meal. Love this place.More

I enjoy food a lot and this is not my first rodeo at a Michellin restaurant, but I came away from my eperience saying great food, good experience. We decided to dine outside and the place was saturated with flies. While we knew some of...what we were in for, however it was really overwhelming and I supposed met the spirit of the truck stop it used to be. We also had someone with a severe peanut allergy, as well as, reactive to other a few other nuts and the waitress acted like we would offend the dishes if we removed any of the ingredients in them. Still the food was close to divine. Each plate had a special touch that made the dish stand out and we walked away satisfied. It certainly is famous for its wine list for a reason. We just wouldn't go again to have a full dining experience.More

The outdoor area is perfect for dining with Covid precautions. We went there during our family get together - had to split into a table of 4 and another of 3. Food was very good overall. My grilled ahi sandwich was outstanding - missing it...already!More

Great restaurant not too far from Napa. Lots of wines and the food was yummy. Service was good too. A little expensive but we felt it was worth it.

This was my go-to place when I lived in Napa over 30 years ago. Went here again and it did not disappoint! A gorgeous outside area with heat lamps has been added. Items on the menu are seasonal and the service is professional. Loved the...sweet corn tamales and save room for the lemon meringue pie!More

I only recall thinking it was ‘reasonable’. However, with the addition of flights and an excellent selection of bottles, this is one place I wouldn’t go out of my way to BYOB.
