We often pick up late breakfast or lunch here - sometimes dining in, sometimes taking home. You have a choice of soups, salads, sandwiches, chips, fruit, desserts, self-serve soda & coffee, or espresso. "Le Bou" is also a bakery, so you can pick up pastries or fresh bread/rolls along with your order. Note that if you'd like, they will slice... More

"It's the best sandwich I've ever eaten," my wife said when she finished a cobb sandwich with crusty crunchy bread. I agree. It was delicious. The coffee choices are very good as well. During our week in Mountain View we visited LeBoulanger three times. I suggest that TripAdvisor also include LeBoulanger in its restaurant category. It's not merely a bakery.

I work next to this place and have a hard time understanding how they are still around, must be the convenience and catering. Their food quality is not very good and their prices are too expensive, especially for the subpar quality you get. Almost any other restaurant on Castro street is better - I am having a hard time thinking... More

We recently ate lunch at LeBoulanger. The sandwiches were good; however, the salad I had was a bit old looking with many wilted greens. Pastries were good--we had a chocolate pastry, a piece of bundt cake, and another called a petite pastry. The place is good for children. There were lines to get food as it is the type of... More

Chain food done better. Good pastries, nice breads, friendly staff, free wi-fi, clean bathrooms and convenient location. What more can you ask for

I really want to like this place, the location is great, there are a lot of interesting people who stop in, but the pastries are nothing special and not always fresh. Nevertheless we come almost every weekend.

Bread is always excellent. Two gripes about this location. Lack of parking and staff don't wipe down tables often.

Since the bread is awesome, it makes the sandwiches really tasty. My fav is the Calif Fresh or Country Classic on a sourdough roll.
