Food was good, and patio seating was real nice, but they gouge on any and every type of drink. They start the meal off offering you sparkling water or their "special" bottle of everyday drinking water. It's pretty bad when you can't even get a...free glass of water. Cheapest glass of wine was $17.00 and cocktails were about $21.00. And, if you bring your own bottle of wine they charge a $50.00 corkage fee. So, even though the food was okay for the price I paid, for a party of three, I would not return to this restaurant.More

The restaurant looks like hole-in-the-wall in a strip mall from the outside…. But when you go inside, the place is WOW!!! Everything is perfect, starting with food, and service and finishing off with ambiance and decor!! This is one of the nicest restaurants!! To top...it off, Hector made our experience so pleasant. Thank you!More

We went here for lunch and sat outside. Ordered several appetizers. The ahi tuna was seared on the outside and drizzled with sesame oil accompanied by a avocado and mango salad and was very good. The bread and dips was good too. The Greek salad...was ok. The melon & prosciutto had two kinds of melon , both were a little underripe and there was very little of the prosciutto. For the main course I had the saffron sea bass which was delicious. We shared 3 desserts, Tiramisu, Creme Brûlée and a chocolate fondant cake. All desserts were very good. Washed done with a latte ( not that good)More

Now that restaurants have limited indoor dining, we decided to try a new one for us. We had a delicious meal at Cucina Venti. It's in an odd location, in a little strip mall across from the Century movie theatre on Shoreline. But when you...walk into Cucina Venti, it is an atmosphere of elegant dining. Nice decor, great lounge music, romantic lighting. And now the food - We shared some small plates and one pasta. * Sizzling Prawns in garlic/olive oil/chili flakes had a beautiful presentation and it tasted as good as it looked. The well-seasoned prawns were tender but still had a crunch. There were little crunchy bits of fried garlic that were worth fighting over:) * We had the Crispy Zucchini Cakes, which are mentioned in many reviews. Crunchy on the outside; very light and fluffy on the inside. Mild in taste. * Fried calamari was a sizable portion, served with 2 good sauces (particularly liked the mild Serrano aioli). * Penne Francesca included prawns, asparagus tips and mushrooms in a buttery white wine sauce. Delicious and also a good sized portion. * Tiramisu was just as it should be: creamy filling, cake that is not too wet (like some restaurants), and a delicious coffee/cocoa flavoring. I read a review that said it was dry - that was not our experience at all! The service was excellent! John (mentioned in many reviews) is thoughtful with his suggestions. And strikes the perfect balance of taking care of you and not being intrusive. Our second waiter, Hector, really showed that he cared that we were enjoying our dinner and provided little extras of great service. Good choices for wine by the glass, but we felt a little too pricey. Lowest price was $16 a glass. I think the restaurant should consider adding some choices in the $10-12 range. And in general, the food prices are a bit high. I know restaurants are just trying to survive this pandemic, so I can't find fault. But if the prices were just a little lower, we would consider coming more often and not just for special occasions. In summary, a lovely restaurant serving delicious food and providing excellent service. Grazie!More

A little pricey but I guess we are in the bay area. John was our server and was well supported by the staff. Water glass never empty, complimentary rolls were excellent and a great selection of wine. Had the penny with meat sauce. It was...very tasty but pasta was over cooked...should have said al dente. My wife had ceaser salad and zucchini cakes. She was so happy eating the zucchinni cakes that we ordered more to go. You get 4 small but excellenty prepared cakes. Enjoyed the outdoor dining. Thanks again john.More

I really enjoy Cucina Venti. Love the decor. Service is great. Food is wonderful. Lately I've come to like the beet salad with salmon added as an extra. Love the colors and flavors work well together. Enjoy it with a glass of Pinot Noir Meiomi....I've been coming here for 2 years now. They've accommodated me solo, in large company gatherings and as part of couples--always a great experience that doesn't break the bank. Will visit again soon.More

We went there for lunch after our hiking trip and our dress code wasn't exactly right for this place, but we came at the end of lunch time and got the same treatment as we were there for business lunch. Our server was John and...his work was outstanding! Every approach to the table as well as every dish served was perfectly on time and professional. We loved pasta and bruschetta, perfect notch.I had scallops and will gladly order it again! Tiramisu is a must! It's the right size and not too sweet. We will definitely come back there if we are passing by or need to treat us or someone else with the right Italian food and great service.More

Next to a tapas bar and a Starbucks, in a strip center, across from a movie theatre complex, you'll find Cucina Venti. The interior is quite dark and large. It gets quite busy and the back patio is a lovely alternative for a more quiet...atmosphere. We had dinner out there with only two other tables being served. The service was good but not speedy. We enjoyed our food, although my husband had to send his lamb chops back as he ordered them medium rare and they were well done. I had the Mediterranean Sea Bass served with pesto on a salad of spinach and other greens, roasted red peppers, tomatoes and olives. I was disappointed that the olives were simple California black olives, not Kalamata or other tastier ones. They didn't charge for a glass of wine to make up for the overdone lamb. The heirloom tomato and burrata salad was very nice. Fantastic burrata.More

Our family of 12 had a fabulous time at Cucina Venti tonight. This is the second time we've gathered and celebrated numerous birthdays. Great ambience, delicious cocktails, good food, and best of all, incredible service from our server, John. (a super nice guy with lots...of tattoos!). Thank you, John for making our evening a special one! Mille Grazie!More

I don't know if they have a round table. My group sat at a rectangular table. There were 8 of us. We were in the front of the restaurant and we arrived early (6pm reservation) since we also had an elderly woman with us and... More
