Our family of five had a nice lunch here last Sunday with a view of the water and pier activity! A little chilly but we had great service and a tasty meal. Kids even tried clam chowder for the first time (we're from Kentucky)!

Went to this place based on recommendations here. It did not disappoint. Sooooo good. The tartar sauce is housemade. The fish in the fish and chips was perfectly breaded, not greasy. Best I’ve had in years. The salad was dressed nicely with a fresh vinaigrette....More

Cute little place on the pier. A few tables outside and very small. The menu could have more options - too many burger and sand which options. Wanted more seafood. Had the fish and chips. It was good.

It's a very small restaurant. I could see it being hard to sit a large group of people. Especially later in the morning. The sea food omelette was fantastic. And 1 pancake can feed a small army! I would come back.

This small cute restaurant has amazing breakfast! The FBO Jet Center at the airport recommended this place and we had breakfast there. It was worth the 45 minutes wait. The chef in the open kitchen sure knows what he's doing! My hat off to him...More

Monterey's Best Calamari really deserve it's name! Awesom calamari salad fries combination. Homemade! Good price for a huge portion. A lot of fresh salad with an excellent dressing. Nice people. Interesting location at the Warf.

We stumbled upon Loulou's on fisherman's wharf 2 for lunch. It's a tiny cafe but the staff are very attentive, a table quickly reset for us and food served. The food is yummy but serves are large. Tip us to order half salad and chips....More

Loulou's Griddle may look small and away from the main wharf, but they served the best food ever! Their shrimp cocktail is the freshest I've had, and their clam chowder was steaming hot and had so many clams. Their service is also top notch and...More

Good place for breakfast. Have "hubcap pancakes" that are the size of a tire. Located on the pier. Small place so may have to wait.

Well worth any wait time, although I they do a good job of moving tables quickly so you don't have to wait long.

Description
Loulou's Griddle in the Middle is the tiny diner on Wharf #2. We always say we're "tiny but mighty." We cook with a lot of heart, soul, and deep care about every detail. We aim to make your experience comfortable, fun, delicious, and a little like being at a home-away-from-home. The kitchen is open so you can see our chefs preparing right in front of you. Our community of customers--both local and visitors from far away--also make Loulou's special. We bend over backwards to accomodate your requests, when we can, and we might crown you with a tiara if your requests are many....but all in fun. The diner opened in 1948, so it's rich with history. We're blessed with one customer, Henry, who has been coming EVERY morning since 1948 and he's earned a customized stool, a plaque, his own coffee mug, and a warm place in our hearts.
