In a hurry, stopped to remember the Mexican food flavor....prompt service and music not too loud....we enjoyed the Carne asada and a traditional margaritas...

Food was okay. Decent vegetarian items. The tableside guacamole and cheese enchiladas were okay. Nothing special.
Used to be one of my favorite restaurants to have great Mexican food but after many administrative changes they change recipes and cut corner, no the food is terrible and expensive, portions are extra small, customer service was also out the window
My husband and I have been going to El Torito in Milpitas since they closed the one in Santa Clara. We have gone to the Sunday buffet, lunches and dinners. 99% of the time they open the doors for us and they take us to the table that is close to everything. The buffet is great and it is only... We were on the road for awhile. Check in to our hotel. Had dinner here.Clean fast and great food. We even got a free desert, Wow, Thanks.

Furniture is a bit dated. Service is very good and consistent. I eat here all the time, so my review is based on a lot of... More
It's a nice location and chips and salsa are always fresh. Rest of the fare is above average. It does get crowded on weekends, so call and make reservation.
every time that I am in town I expend one night there. Ask for a margarita just to start the dinner and pick one of the fajitas pates. Service is friendly and if you have doubt will help you to find the right plate.
We ate here on arrival day of a long flight. It is walking distance from our hotel. We arrived around 5:00pm and the restaurant looked to be transitioning to the dinner hour. The waiter seem a bit brusque at first and I had to restrain from saying something negative about his responses. He came around towards the end of the... More
