Because it's convenient and attached to the La Quinta hotel we went in there for dinner. First of all, the interior is modern sleazy diner atmosphere, looks like a fast food joint. Nothing wrong with that if the prices match the experience, alas, they don't. We had a grilled cuttle fish for appetizer which was actually pretty good, no muss,... More

We were staying at the LaQuinta and noticed the mostly positive reviews so decided to give it a try. So glad we did. So glad we also made a reservation. It was very very busy. We decided to go with a series of appetizers so we could sample a wide variety of food. My husband jumped straight to the Wagyu... More

Ordered several small plates, which was plenty for two people. Everything we ordered was fresh, looked good and tasted great. Took a few minutes before the server came to our table. Once she had our order the food came out quickly and service thereafter was good. Right across the street from our hotel.

We selected this restaurant based on recommendations. It was disappointing. The waitress probably had her offday, as it was far from pleasant. Food choice was around chicken terriyaki, which was partly burned and tasted bad. Total experience, including the ambiance and paying the check was below mediocre. Not a place we will visit ever more. As attention point: although not... More

The service was excellent and responsive. We ordered a couple of appetizers, a sashimi salad and the sukiyaki and they were all quite tasty and excellent. All this at an excellent price. I would recommend for all travelers and locals alike.

Don't be fooled by the location; its in the lobby of La Quinta. And they don't have sushi in the traditional sense of rolls with nori and seafood but rather more Japanese gastro pub. Very fresh seafood and really tasty, crispy croquettes and the best chicken teriyaki I've had.

This little restaurant was across the road from the Millwood Inn and Suites where we were staying for one night. It didn't look too impressive from outside but inside it was nicely done in simple Japanese decor. When we arrived we had the restaurant to ourselves, but after a while it started to fill up with a mostly Japanese clientele,... More

We had 3 appetizers and 2 entrees and all were tasty. Food is well prepared. Items were cooked well and there were not any weird sauces added that one sometimes gets. Portions were ample and Bill about $50, without drinks

Set into a hotel, this place is a real gem. Very good food, large portions at very reasonable prices. We were the only non-Japanese on two visits! Worth a drive to get such good food!

It seems that we were the only non-Japanese customers at this restaurant, but we were greeted and treated with understanding and care. The food, which for us was crisp lotus roots and tempura shrimp, followed by green tea ice cream, was delicious. It was a delight to step into Japan a brief walk away from our motel.
