We heard from a friend about this restaurant and gave a try. It is very closed to Menlo Park downtown on a side street. The spicy tofu is not to be missed. Flavorful food, great-cold Sinaporian food brought me back to my trips to Singapore. Great for lunch, nice for dinner. Haven't had one thing there I didn't like.
Always have a good experience at Shiok. It is small but not cramped. The service is good and food is delicious. I'm not good with spicy foood but their Laksa Noodles are so delicious that I have to keep eating them, even with my mouth tingling.
They serve excellent food at this restaurant. My favorite is the SIngapore chili crab with the sweet bread rolls. It's a bit of a trek to get to, as they are about 1 hour away from San Francisco or Oakland, but definitely worth the trip.
Went here a few times when they first opened and offered discounted vouchers through restaurant.com and we were glad to try this then new place in town.
