The entire space feels very open and the kitchen is completely exposed. You can hear and smell everythi g they are makong. We had... More

We celebrated the Stanford graduation with a fine dinner at the Madera, a beautiful restaurant in the Rosewood. The view from the patio where was just amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is very unique. I had the lamb and my friends had rib eyes and halibut. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner and a delicious glass of Pinot... More

Rosewood hotel in Menlo Park is really a special and lovely place and the madera restaurant is terrific for breakfast and lunch, especially on the deck during a warm Spring or summer day.

Had a better experience during lunch thats why we went back for dinner. I actually like the ambiance of the... More

Private room dining with an excellent choice of beverages. The food was divine. Three choices per course were offered and certainly did not disappoint. Loved 'the twist' on menu choices which made the courses exciting and certainly not average. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced staff tended to our every need. Fantastic food, service and ambience. Will be back again!

My husband and I had Valentine's Brunch at Madera. The atmosphere next to the fireplace was romantic and the service was attentive. However, the experience left much to be desired because the crab benedict and the smoked salmon benedicts were not fresh. The bottle of champagne needed more chilling and there was not an enticing dessert for this special day.... More

This was a really nice spot with a nice airy feel and very nice views. The tables were well spaced and the food was quite good. The service was a bit slow as a breakfast rush overwhelmed the wait staff.. This seemed more of a management issue that a problem with the servers themselves. They kept a brave face.

My friends took me here on my birthday ... the food was great and served very artistically. I had the scallops - highly recommend ... They also were very sweet to add candles to our dessert to humor me (the birthday girl). It was just a little loud and we would have perhaps preferred a quieter table so that we... More

I had dinner at Madera on Saturday night with a new member of my team followed by breakfast the next morning with clients. Both meals were amazing. Dinner was perfectly executed, fresh seafood, delightful wine, great service and I loved my poached eggs on spinach and tomatoes for breakfast. And, the tea with warmed soy milk was exactly what I... Eric, our server, was attentive, ever-pleasant and most obliging to our party in a private room. The ambience was incredible and indulgent. The food incredible from appetizers, salads, mains and desserts. Wines and champagnes were lovely.
