My husband and I stopped in to buy a dozen oysters to take home for dinner. We wound up staying to enjoy shucking and eating a half dozen fresh kumamoto oysters while we enjoyed the music and beautiful view of the bay. The man behind...More

This short drive from San Francisco is well worth it. The staff are super friendly and the oysters are mouth wateringly delicious. This quaint little restaurant uses nothing but fresh ingredients and even smoke their oysters right on site. They used to give tours of...More

We drove around the bay to the main supply area that sells bulk oysters. If you like they do sells shucking gloves and knives and have ice for transport. Everyone was very friendly and they directed us up the road to the restaurant. we sat...More

I remember going here several times when their picnic tables and grill were still up and running. However, they have been forced to remove their tables and grill and now you'll have to order and take your oysters elsewhere. Nonetheless, this place was great! Too...More

This place was a great place to spend an an afternoon shucking, eating, drinking. However, from the website it looks like the tables and grills are no more. Haven't been myself to confirm but be warned!

Went here three days ago. If you like oysters you will love this place. This is as fresh as it gets short of harvesting your own and eating them that moment. This is not a restaurant. It is a oyster farm. Very rustic, right on...More

Stopped on our way home from Mendocino. Very popular spot for the tourists but well run and efficient. Of course the oysters on the half shell were great but also try the clam chowder.

In the past this would have been a 5. Don't go here on a weekend unless you want to park in a ditch along narrow highway 1, pay $20 for a dozen so called medium oysters, deal with a circus environment, wait a couple of...More
