This small restaurant is located about 10 miles south of the town of Mariposa, so somewhat off the tourist trail, but usually busy just from locals. The daily specials are very good, including the homemade soup. If some sort of bread, or even just crackers...More
If you want good food, fresh, local ingredients and a welcoming staff you will want to eat at Triangle. Nice variety of local wines and music on the weekends. Family and child friendly and the chef will prepare your food to meet special needs. This...More
A little out of the way, off of the beaten patch, but worth the drive. I had the Ruben and believe me it was the best Ruben sandwich I have ever had. The pastrami was lean sliced thick and very tasty, an ample supply of...More

Located a ways back into the mountains for Mariposa and Oakhurst, the Triangle offers really good food at really good prices. Very informal, no bar (yes beer and wine). You'll need a map to get there, but the drive is beautiful.
If you can find it - you won't be disappointed! I've taken friends here for dinner, they thought we were lost, and we all walked out full and satisfied. Never a bad meal.
