Fishbar is a good sport's bar. The drinks and appetizers are good, the dresswear is casual and the staff is friendly. The food is moderately priced. The lobster mac and cheese is one of their signature dishes.which is very hood. I also enjoyed the lobster quesadella and chipotle calamari. My biggest complaint is the seating. It is to close together.... More

Came here to watch the opening day of 2015 NFL football and had a great time. For being so close to the beach, it's too bad they don't have windows or a view but, aside from that, the ambiance is fun and friendly, the service is prompt and provided by lovely young servers, and the seafood was fresh and delicious.... On a recent trip to California a friend took us to a local hangout called Fishbar. It was a little late on a Monday night but this place was still open. The staff was very friendly and gave us plenty of time to order. The food was outstanding. We had the roasted brussel sprouts along with an order of lobster... More

My daughter and I had an overnight stay @ LAX so we looked on TA and found Fishbar. Not a fancy place but very comfortable even though it was crowded. We had the crab legs and crab queso dip. Both were very good. Our service was top notch and we left well satisfied. Will definitely go again when in the area.

They might have good food here, but I was so distracted by the myriad of loud customers stuffed into an extremely small space, that I can barely remember how the fish tacos I ordered tasted. I have been writing T.A. reviews for about 15 years, and usually write in depth summaries of meals I've had, and can even recall yummy... More

Fishbar started out as a non entity and has grown into a crowded, too hip, unfriendly behemoth. The first few times I visited I was really impressed. That was in 2012 and the place was under the radar. The cocktails were stiff, the portions reasonable and the cost manageable. And there weren't families and baby strollers to deal with. Don't... Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is excellent. Fish tacos were delicious! Highly recommend this place. Parking is extremely difficult on the street but there is a public parking garage just across the street that's metered and only like $1 for 1.5 hours.
