Every dish was excellent...from starting with the fresh baked cheddar/bacon biscuits, to a cheese plate with 3 types of honey, mussels, broccoli/cauliflower, scallops, steak, mac and cheese. Run, don't walk. You wont be disappointed. Top 3 meals of 2016 and I eat out a lot!

They overcharged tips on my credit card! I had a so so dinner there with my wife on Tuesday November 22nd. We got the biscuit (very good) and two entrées (green beans and shrimp pasta) which ended up being a bit too heavy on the salt. At the end, I liked the service, so I gave 20℅ tips. However, when... It was the 2nd night out with 30 work pals and eating here was a stated goal from the moment we all arrived in LA. Two days of hearing about the bacon cheddar biscuits was finally rewarded with my own biscuit + maple butter. It was every bit as good as advertised and only the beginning of a wonderful night... Meh.....don't see why all the great reviews. First of all it does not have a great view...if you sit in the chair at banquett by front and twist your head you can see a glimpse of the ocean down an alley though. Food just okay. Went at brunch and not an extensive menu. Dumplings with a dollop of pork in... More

Manhattan Beach Post, a solid 4 out of a 5. We've been here for both brunch and dinner twice and while it's not something that's high on our repeat list it's a solid option for American small plates. Our favorites: Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Beef Ribeye, Peach Coffee Cake with Brown Butter Skip: The Elvis, Mac &... More

I enjoyed my food. I had the bacon cheddar biscuits, skirt steak, Brussel sprouts, and chicken skewer. Really enjoyed biscuits and steak everything else was ok. Didn't really care for the drink I ordered which was easy too forget because it was tasteless. Service was great though.

Another great meal: Brussels sprouts, couscous, and scallops were solid! Lamb belly disappointing: too salty and overly sweet. Highlight: ribeye with truffle butter! Custard and cardamom soft serve desserts ok.

A little pricey as others have mentioned. Also loud - louder than I would have preferred. Ok, those are the negatives. Now for the positives. The service was excellent, the food even better. And different things on the menu. We had duck prosciutto, scallops, fries, short ribs. All excellent. Great service, decent wine list, good drinks. We will be back.
