Stumbled onto this place just because my lovely wife was getting Hangry. Had to feed her so I caught this place out of the corner of my eye. O have driven past the Country Kitchen it seems for the last 50 years without knowing that it was there. The place serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The guy at the counter... More

Great food! This joint has been well known for its Breakfast burritos and its PCH burgers. Frequented by visitors and locals alike .

Down to earth Malibu ambiance. Very laid back and unpretentious. Food is excellent and service is friendly and comfortable.

This place has the charm of old Malibu. It isn't trendy, just good food. Burgers, burritos--the basics.

First glance you might not stop at this place. Walk up window next to a liquor store. Looks are deceiving. My wife had the club sandwich with avocado, very delicious. I had the chicken burrito, big enough for a small family, so tasty. The prices were cheaper than you would expect on the PCH and well worth it.

This is a great little food stand. A large menu-easy parking. I highly recommend it. Far better than any name brand fast food.

This is a great little spot when you have done the Getty and then head up the PCH for a ride. Odds are good you will pass this place the first time you drive to it. You have to pay attention when you reach the Las Flores intersection because it is just past that on your right. You will NOT... More

We stopped on our way to Santa Barbara. Yes, Maurie (sp?) is a fixture, but he stands behind the counter with his iphone plugged in his ear (ironic, given the NO CELL PHONE sign) and yaps to the locals while the non-locals wait. I guess the intention could be to keep the outsiders, well, out– but it seems fairly short-sighted,... More

Great place for breakfast on the weekend. I am sure it's great any other time too. Basic food done pretty well. Most portions are so huge you can share. Outside patio is best - quieter, less crowded.

This little drive-up food stand is great. I haven't had their lunch foods but their breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches are awesome. Coming from the East Coast I'd never had a breakfast sandwich like this: eggs, bacon or sausage, lettuce, tomato, mayo on sourdough, white or rye. Terrific, any time of day. They have about 5 little tables with umbrellas.... More
