First off to get free parking you will need to park along the PCH and walk a little, or your other option is to use they valet parking to park in their parking lot which ($5.00) not terrible. Maybe the locals know something more about parking so that might help. Restaurant was clean. We showed up about 2:00pm and wanted... More

Arrived for late lunch 2:30ish. Main room closed until dinner hour, I think 5. I know many restaurants close a couple hrs in between lunch & dinner. I'm not sure why Dukes does. There's plenty of room to put a few tables aside for those wanting an inside table with a view. The bar tables are open and the outside... More

Excellent food with a breathtaking view of the ocean at a reasonable price. Dukes lives up to it's reputation.

Dukes is great - great food, great atmosphere, great staff! Sit in the bar, watch a game, have drinks; or sit outside and watch the waves crash on the rocks at sunset. Good place for a fun date!

We stopped off here for some lunch on our way to Santa Monica and choose a table outside! The view of the beach and ocean is amazing and the food was extremely tasty! I recommend the fish tacos. It was also very good value for money and would return anytime.

Service attentive and everything excellent. Recommend the seafood and crab salad. And Mai Tai's are the same recipe as Hawaii. Lots of places are not.

Food was really good - tasty - portions were on small side with a few dishes - but so fresh!! Would go back in a heartbeat - the wine list is pretty nice as well - good variety and prices were not bad!

This is the third Dukes location we have had the pleasure of dining at. Malibu Beach location was the perfect ending to a great day on the beach. Casual dinging with a great menu.. Finish off your meal and save room for a piece of their Famous Hula Pie. To die for!

I was worried about going here after I read some of these reviews. I have been to Hula grill in Maui so I decided to check it out. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very welcoming at the door, my server was knowledgeable (and patient) about the menu. His suggestions were spot on! The view was perfect. Our server... More

Description
Duke's Malibu has brought the excitement of Hawaii, Waikiki, and surfing to the mainland. The spectacular oceanfront location on Pacific Coast Highway offers over 300 feet of romantic oceanfront dining and memorabilia from both Hawaii and California surfing history. The Barefoot Bar, looking south into the lights of Santa Monica, is a great spot for drinks and casual food with friends.

Staying in Malibu

Neighbourhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
