Good cocktails and a decent wine list. The menu slightly on the lazy/predictable side and while the food was good we weren't wowed. Perhaps bad choices..? Service was fine. Enjoyable weekend lunch in a beautiful setting, overall.

We dined at Geoffrey's for lunch during our day trip to Malibu on the recommendation of a friend. The restaurant is beautiful and the view is fantastic, overlooking the water and you can see Catalina island. We had an unobstructed view, a table right against the balcony. We had oysters, a beet salad sea bass and a bottle of champagne.... More

My favorite restaurant, by far. The food is always perfect, the wait staff is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is refreshing in the California sun and seaside especially for this Minnesota girl.

I am told that Geoffrey's has a great view, but I did not get to experience it on my visit. Half of the tables or more are outside, which is great unless it is raining. On the slow night we visited it poured. Our group of twelve had to take off our shoes to wade from the valet stand to... More

The views are spectacular and the food was great! We had a wonderful lunch and great service. Would be a great place for a romantic sunset dinner. Only drawback is parking.... valet it is much easier than trying to park on PHC.

Went there for dinner in late August. Recommended by a family member as we were visiting California. Great ambiance and food. Of all the seats/tables there, pretty much the majority of them are outside looking out over the Pacific. If you're looking for a delicious meal while you watch a glorious Pacific sunset, then you've come to the right place.... More

We made the 45 minute drive to watch the sunset and were not disappointed. On Saturday morning we made a reservation for 5:30, sunset was 5:42, on open table through trip advisor. We asked for a view and our request was accommodated. We arrived early and had no problems using the valet to park. If you approach Geoffrey's by the... More

There were 6 of us for a last minute brunch accommodation and although we had to wait, it was a nice environment to wait in. The hostess were not super friendly, but the waiter was great and the food was good but nothing spectacular. You come to this place for the beautiful view and you certainly pay for it. It's... More

The parking is terrible; the menu is nice, but the quality is just ok for the price, which is pricey. GREAT VIEW!

It's a pity that the view of the ocean is obstructed but this place is an institution. Efficient service and solid food. A real place to see and be seen but not stuffy. The food is well priced for what it is. Cool place!

Staying in Malibu

Neighbourhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
