We had just landed in LAX, from the UK, and so it was unusual to want to eat and enjoy a quality meal, rather than our bed, but this was our best chance to eat here. We were attracted by the Nancy Silverton connection, whose cook books I love. We also are not great fans of italian food usually, so... More

This was one of the BEST restaurants I have ever been too, Italy included! First of all, we were treated like royalty...which I love! Even the wine expert spent time with us. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD and to top it off, Adam Levin came in to eat and my girls got a pic with him!

Really good food here! The portions are small and the prices are reaaaalll pricey. We paid over $200 between 2 people. That's a lot. But anyways, all in all, we enjoyed our time here. Very romantic and it's very busy here! If you don't have reservations, there will be a wait. I hear there are a lot of celebrity sightings... More

My husband and I fell into a reservation at Osteria Mozza while on a food tour of Hollywood last week in Los Angeles. We stopped in at Mozz2Go to sample the pizza (which was absolutely one of the best thin crust pizzas we have every experienced) and noticed the more formal Osteria Mozza next door. Luckily we were able to... More

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened, finally did for an early NYE dinner with friends. What a treat! Our server was excellent. Ambience is great. The Sommelier was great. Our food was so good! Loved that they had their regular menu on NYE. Everyone at our table loved the food Will definitely return

My husband, son, and I splurged on dinner here after reading a national article on its being the best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. Agreed. Decor is classic, appropriately understated and carefully lit. We were fortunately seated in a back room off the main one, which was too loud for real conversation. Specialty drinks were awesome, as was the Primitivo... More

I feel that I need to share this because our recent experience was significantly better than our first visit a few years ago and had we not gone back by chance, we probably would never have gone back at all. We initially dined at Osteria Mozza not too long after it opened. Although the food was delightful, the overall dining... More

This was my second dinner here and the food did not disappoint. I am a fan of Mario Battali and have dined at Babbo in New York. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is excellent. The grilled octopus with fingerling potato and celery is one of my favorite dishes. The orecchietti pasta with sausage and swiss chard was delicious... More

We enjoy going to Osteria Mozza for the artisan charcuterie and homemade pasta. However, it is the steak that is the scene stealer. There is only one steak on the menu and it is amazing: charred on the outside, juicy on the inside with unbelievably delicious flavor. It literally melts in your mouth. I honestly prefer Mozza's steak to all... More

I am a big fan of Mario Batali’s regional, simple Italian fare. I have eaten at five of his restaurants, most recently Osteria Mozza in Hollywood, CA, which is also owned by Nancy Silverton and long-time friend and collaborator, Joseph Bastianich. I have eaten there three times. We love the extensive fresh cheese Italian selection and creative appetizers including one... More
