Corner seats at the bar gave us a great view of the house, the sous chefs working behind the bar, and each other. Food was delicious, and service was very friendly. Wine list was ridiculously long (in a good way), with an unbelievable spanse of Italian reds; but the (somewhat cold) sommelier helped us select one that was just right.... More

I'm a NY Italian and I've traveled in Italy as teenager. The memories linger but the time is long. After my fora bite of the burrata, i got teary eyed as the flavour was so reminiscent of my Italy trip, it was as though I was that young teenager all over again. Then the stacked butter leaf lettuce salad with... More

Authentic menu including Rabbit, Quail, dishes etc. One of the best Wine lists in LA. Highly recommend Burrata appetizers and pasta dishes.

Me and my wife went to Osteria Mozza for my Birthday. My wife made the reservation through opentable and made sure she mentioned that it is my birthday. We arrived 10 minutes late which lead it to know that they only keep reservation for extra 15 minutes. We sat down and took sometime to go over all the menu. We... More

We were visiting friends in Brentwood and they took us to Osteria Mozza. This is a very popular Italian restaurant. They have a central food bar for smaller fare. Fortunately, we ate a regular table with a regular menu. This dishes are all pretty fancy and very well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner at a special restaurant. It is... More

I have eaten at Osteria Mozza 3 times in the past year. Each time has been special. The biggest problem with going there is that there are so many great things to choose from the menu. Most recently I had cappallaci filled with sweet corn. Inventive and delicious. There are things I've never seen on any other menu, like calf... More

If these are Mario Batali's pasta creation, then he need to re-evaluate them: Tagliatelle with oxtail ragu Linguine with clams, pancetta, spicy chillies Orecchiette with fennel sausage. Phenomenal eclectic preparations but the real Italian tastes and flavors are missing chef's by salt overload. Rabbit con Salsiccia. Real perfection. Sunday night wifey's surprise birthday dinner with family and she's an ardent... More

This place is an over-the-top restaurant let alone Italian food experience they find a way to blend in formal dining in a very comfortable manner serving the most perfectly prepared Italian food in recent memory try everything especially the sweet breads and flown in burrAtta. In true Italian fashion at the end of the meal when there were excessive breadcrumbs... More

I came to Mozza with family to have dinner here. Having been a frequent visitor to Mozza in Singapore, I was excited to dine here. The meal surpassed my wildest expectations. Nancy Silverton is a genius and the dishes were incredible and so delicious. Owen Edson, our host, never missed a beat, as he made recommendations from the menu and... More

SO and I love Chef's Table (Netflix- if you don't know, now you know) I heard a rumor Osteria would be featured on Season 3 so when I was going to be in the area I made reservations for it to try it out before it gets hyped up and over booked. Our server was wonderful and extremely attentive. We... More
