This review is for the Roy's , Woodland Hills. We visit Roy's for their limited but tasty Happy hour, we dine in occasionally. We chose the latter on our visit Monday as the Spring Prix Fixe menu is back. An appetizer, entree and a dessert...More

I had been waiting to go to Roy's since missing out on the one on Maui 10 years ago. Really disappointed in my mahi mahi that was dry and not very tasty.

Great variety of food. The fish was very fresh and the dessert was great. I ate there twice on my recent trip.

The service was very good but the food wasn't great. Butterfish was excellent but the scallops were over-seasoned and shrimp was over cooked. For the price I would go back to keoki's across the parking lot for a much nicer atmosphere and slightly better food....More

Roys has become a pretty wide chain, and for that reason I shied away from it for a while. I have since eaten there in Hawaii and Woodland Hills, CA and have been pleased with service and food. The menu is interesting and the food...More

If you appreciate fresh seafood mixed with explosive flavor, Roy's is a great spot. The tuna is world class and is their specialty. I always sit at the sushi bar as you can watch the entire kitchen work. The conundrum white wine was a great...More

We ate at Flemmings nearby the night before and we figured Roy's was a comparable experience, so we decided to eat there the next night. What a disappointment from what we thought would be a very similar night out. We called ahead to see when...More

I go to Roy's every time I'm in L.A. because the food and service both are excellent. They keep track of me in the computer, so they act like they remember me every time I visit (which I like.) Great wine selection. I recommend the...More

Good food, good service. I would just order appetizers all night and skip the main. We had a private room in the back that worked well for our group of about a dozen.

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
