No too crazy about this place. Small tables. I have better pizza elsewhere. I went several times and tried most of their foods, from pizzas to clams, and they were just over hyped. Decor is old and unattractive. Park on street with meter parking. If you work or live around the area and have no place to eat then try... More

Went to sample their pizza ,totally different from any other pizza. Deep base could only manage one piece, very filling. Had one medium pizza between 3 people, sufficient. Enjoyed the pizza, nice atmosphere, wine by the carafe amazing value.

We were sightseeing in the area and were looking for a place for a late lunch. On a recommendation we made our way to the Masa of Echo Park Bakery and Cafe. They offer a sufficiently wide variety of menu choices to satisfy a wide range of preferences. I love to get a patty melt when I can and zeroed... More

The pizza is truly delicious - best Chicago style you'll find in LA - others have tried, these guys succeed. Not only are the founder/owners from Chicago, so are the deep dish pizza pans - the real deal. The menu has lots of options, pizza and otherwise, offered with regular or vegan cheese. The salads are tremendous and the Sunset... More

This was not our first visit and though it is noisy, the food is good and service good. The salad was large and fresh and crisp.

This is the best Chicago style pizza in LA. If you don't know what that Chicago style pizza is then google it. It takes a while to make but that's all part of the process. Also the bread pudding is the best in LA. Josh is super cool too man.

I want to start out by saying that all the servers here were super friendly & on top of making sure your drinks were topped off. But...as a pizza place that people rave about, I guess I was hoping for something special in their crust or sauce or something. It was all solid but not the best or most memorable... More

Yes, we make Chicago Deep Dish Pizza right here in Echo Park. All of our "masa" (dough) is baked fresh daily in our bakery, and our sauces & dressings are made from scratch. Ingredients are organic & locally sourced whenever possible & we are proud to serve "imported" Chicago favorites like Authentic Hot Giardiniera. Many of our dishes are old family recipes - lovingly passed down. Our Masa family hopes you enjoy your dining experience as much as we enjoy having you. Eat, Drink & Be Merry and... Don't Forget to Save Room for Dessert!
