We had the trio taco meal with Carnitas, Steak and Chicken...good quality meat, grilled nicely, salsa bar - a little heavy on the onion but overall very enjoyable! We even watched hummingbirds flying around the flowers outside the window. Price was good!
I called in a too go order for chicken Quesadilla and asked for all white meat chicken, I told the girl aka the Queen of the cash register over the phone 3 times I wanted white meat. I guess she didn't understand what White meat...was or didn't care. Or she was Mentally challenged. When i got there she said the girl that took my order said they could not make it with all white meat. But when I was on the phone she did. I left with out the order and with out paying for the mealMore

Just wandered in around dinner time and within minutes there was a long line of people - so I guess I stumbled into a place that lots of people know about and are willing to line up for. I had a fish taco, and was...surprised that it wasn't assembled out of already cooked ingredients - they really were making it fresh. Glad I discovered this place.More

We visited Viva as a family of four with teenagers. We were lost in LA looking for food on our way to the Griffith Observatory. We could have taken anything but Daddy Said no to the usual quick hits. And he is glad he did....We ended up in this fine cantina and we are glad we did. No glamour but what a fine local place with red-checked tablecloths, just the way it should be. Freindly staff and good mexican food. We had burittos in different ways. Big enough by far for us all! Nachos were served as welcomming snack. Country music live in the corner. Definately worth a visit if you want to get a little bit off the main streets and eat local. The bar is just way I imagine a bar in America should look like. This place sits in a strip mall with a variety of businesses and another restaurant. They offer solid Mexican food and along with cold beers. I had the Carnitas which were flavorful but, a bit dry. My wife had the required which she enjoyed although...the are made with flour not corn tortillas. Beers were self-served cold and the salsa bar note worthy.More
Great home made mexican. Portion size out of this world! Wish I could have eaten there more often. Trip to short wanted more of that mexican food before I left. BIGGEST AND BEST tostada!

it was very close to my school so I went there very often after the class. the food is inexpensive and very fresh nice. altho the parking can be little mess but it has big parking spaces (share ones) so usually had no problem with...it. the burritos and Tortilla salad bowls are amazing there! try!More
I've eaten lunch here twice and both times the place was packed. A lot of time people of Mexican decent are eating here. All of the ingredients are fresh (e.g. they make their own tortilla chips). I have found the food to be good and...the service quick.More
The tacos were dry and boring. I expected better. The salsa was ok, at least it was fresh. The refried beans were bland and they were really cheap with the chips. And the help was surly. If it wasn't for the fresh salsa, they would...get a lower rating.More
I was disappointed in the food, it was tasty but not what I expected after reading all the reviews prior to eating there, but hey, could have been an off day!
