The regular menu looks inviting but the food quality is not there. The prices are too high. Stick to the bakery side

The food here is like grandmother used to make. It is tasty and fairly healthy. The pies and desserts are also very good. You will not go away hungry or disappointed.
Comfort food that is tired and unimaginative. Without many menu choices, I chose the pot roast with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. Corn bread was complementary. The prices are on the high side for the value received. While the pot roast was not bad, it...More
Came here with my family on our first trip to L.A. The braised beef/pot roast with mashed potatoes and veggies was incredible! We also got the famous chicken pot pie, which was good but didn't wow me. Angel hair pomodoro was excellent, buffalo chicken pizza...More
This was my first time here but I heard about their pies. This location is very large with a 2nd floor(used for weddings/private events). There are many booth tables and a long bar. The interior has a nice Victorian era look with historic photos on...More

Met a friend here for lunch, she had the Chinese Chicken Salad and I had the Frisco. Both were good and the cornbread was excellent. Nice bar like atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
