Popped in for a quick drink after a day in Downtown. Lovely choice of wines and cocktails and two of our group had a little slider which was also great. David was very friendly and helpful!

Beautiful restaurant. Dinning Al Fresco under the lights of the downtown skyline was just the right touch to celebrate my friends anniversary. Good wine list. Great menu if you like seafood and pork dishes. Make a reservation! This is a nice popular restaurant in the heart of downtown. Next to the library, perfect for a romantic stroll after dinner. Restaurant is set on the grounds of L.A.'s Central Library. The interior is very open and appealing. If at all possible, chose to eat outdoors in their lovely garden (heaters are available if it is chilly). Went for dinner on a Saturday night, after the theater-going crowd for the Music Center had left. Restaurant was half-full, at most. The wait... More
Cafe Pinot celebrates its place in LA's "al fresco" pantheon, and while the manicured LA Library terrace it looks out on doubles as a skateboard paradise (especially in the late afternoons), there's no denying this is a lovely place to catch a meal before or after one of the many afternoon and evening cultural events in hopping downtown. I was in town for a business meeting and arranged a dinner for eight folks. We had a very nice meal on the patio on a nice March evening. The service was attentive and the ambience was nice. The food and drinks were fine. It was a nice occasion for all.
We celebrated our daughter's marriage at Cafe Pinot with 130 guests. They did an outstanding job and we could not have been more pleased and delighted. The entres were all delicious. The staff was superb and the setting fabulous. Cristina Romano, in charge of catering, always responded promptly to phone calls and emails. We had frequently enjoyed dining at CP... More

The food is always solid, leaning French. The duck confit is awesome.... More
Everything about Cafe' Pinot is first rate, though I think the pricing represents good value. Inventive dishes, excellent service, good wine list and a bright warm room
This is a very nice setting in downtown LA. The octopus appetizer, French onion soup, and parpadelle pasta were very good. The service was somewhat lackadaisical.
