I was curious about Langer's after seeing it on the PBS show "I'll Have what Phil's having". He recommended the #19 so that's exactly what I got. I could not be more pleased. It was THE most flavorful (I like big, bold flavors), juicy pastrami...More

If you want to experience the look and feel of a deli of the good old times, you must drop by at Langer's. The menu is full of old favorites, mostly with an American Jewish slant. Sandwiches are made from scratch, the signature ingredient being...More

Yes the best deli in in the USA is in Los Angeles. Hand cut Pastrami and double baked rye bread make my older NY friends long for days gone by in the big apple. Everything is good here Pastrami, Brisket, corned beef, you cant go...More

This is a stand out deli; some who have eaten at New York delis say that Langer's is still the best. The rye bread is perfect as is the stuff they put between the slices, bar none! Excellent service and the selections of course are...More

Efficient, automatic, impersonal. Very good pastrami, but not nearly so good as the hype. They hung in there when the going was tough. Thanks for that. In the process they have lost a bit of their soul.

This is the way pastrami should be. Warm. Succulent. Served on really great rye. Yes, there is usually a line. And yes, the parking lot is a block away. But no, you won't find better pastrami in all of LA...or maybe in all of the...More

Lived up to its reputation for great pastrami, in a reasonably sized sandwich — not the unwieldy, overstuffed sandwiches the New York delis serve. Very nice service as well.

Just good food at a resonable price. Located in dowmtown (7th and Alvarado). Try the pastrami and eggs breakfast.

We get food for our work at least once a month because it is so great. We order a variety of their food including different salads.

The pastrami is the best in LA, the rye bread is sold all over, it's that good. Buy a loaf when you leave. It is a little out of the way for most in Los Angeles, especially visitors, but if it is pastrami you want,...More

If Norm Langer is the guy who started Langers, he passed away. As to exactly who cuts the goods now, I am guessing it is the person with the big knife and gifted eyes and hands. Levity never (?) hurt anyone. If it is... More
