I finally made it to "Mecca" this weekend ... and all was good. Like the other write ups recommend, I had the "Number 19", Pastrami and cole slaw sandwich. It was great ... ! I ordered a side of matzo ball soup and a side...More

Langer's is simply a must for locals and visitors alike. While the #19 has a cult following, don't forget to take a look at the menu and their amazing sandwich offerings. I am particularly fond of the Rueben. Also fried well-done with a side of...More

Langer's is certainly not fancy but if you want great soup or a great pastrami sandwich then this is place to go. You can do curbside service which is what I usually do and it is very efficient and easy. I love this Deli.

Can't go wrong here. I've been eating here for over 40 years. It's a great place to have authentic deli sit down food!

The original #19 features Langer’s (1947) famous pastrami, creamy house-made coleslaw, Russian dressing, tender Swiss cheese and handmade Jewish-style rye bread from nearby Fred’s Bakery (1949), this heaping tribute to old-school Jewish deli traditions is the one sandwich locals recommend as the best in town....More

Jewish Deli's should serve generous portions...I don't think Langers is still serving GENEROUS...just so so. The waitress are the "What can I get you Honey" older ladies, so you feel like you are in a real Jewish Deli, but I is simply not the way...More

NYC has Kat's Deli. Los Angeles has Langer's. Being a New Yorker you do have some great delis on the west coast. But, Langer's deli pastrami is the 2nd best in the country. You be the judge. If you ever been to NY or had...More

This is a great place to go and get a wonderfully juicy and lean Reuben with such delicious meat, bread, cheese and more! Love the fresh pickles as well. I always eat here for St. Patrick's Day but any day is a good excuse! Yum!

Excellent food especially the corn beef sandwichs. The service was quick and no waiting in line. Felt comfortable there, because many LAPD come there to eat lunch. On the pricy side.

Langers is the closest to the quality of NYC iconic Katz' deli. Great pastrami and gery good service. The only down side with Langers is the sketchy neighborhood and resulting short hours.

If Norm Langer is the guy who started Langers, he passed away. As to exactly who cuts the goods now, I am guessing it is the person with the big knife and gifted eyes and hands. Levity never (?) hurt anyone. If it is... More
