Four of us were looking for a snack and drinks and stopped in at the Water Grill. We were seated quickly and found the decor very pleasant. We ordered two dozen Kumomoto oysters, salad and chowder. I had a fantastic cucumber, jalapeño margarita and my...More

Start to finish, this was a grand experience. We got the last seating on a Sunday and the staff was still awesome even after what was almost certainly a long day with a heavy brunch service. Oyster and king crab nugget appetizers were perfect; grilled...More

All of the entrees and raw sides are excellent. You must be aware that it is very popular and I never go on the weekends. I have been spoiled in Seattle with oysters, so I have to say that not all of their oysters are...More

An upmarket restaurant with a very sophisticated interior and peaceful ambiance. You can either be seated at the oyster bar or at a private table. Our friendly server Monique recommended the Chilean sea bass and we weren't disappointed- best fish dish ever!!! She also recommended...More

Best if you make reservations. Bar area is great. Firts come, first serve. This is a great place to eat at if you love seafood. Little pricey, but worth it. Hot fresh sourdough bread is served.

Great food, definitely pricey. Everything on the menu that we ordered was delicious. Drinks are good. Atmosphere and service are also great.

nicely cut and fresh lettuce. Beets well sliced and pickled just right. Fresh. Tea is brewed and a delightful alternative.

Santa Monica location is perfect but the food and service are mediocre. A disappointment; doesn't nearly live up to its hype and/or reputation. Certainly not fine dining and prices way too high.

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering
buildings, bustling streets, and industrial
warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of
cultures here with a growing influx of business
professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of
Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts,
bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants
