The food was not even ok. Sandwiches were dry. Meat loaf was covered in tomato sauce. Four dollars for iced tea and all drinks?. Eighteen dollars for a sandwich? This place is not worth my time or money. Eight dollars for apple strudel? I could go on but why. Will not go again.

We sadly left behind Art's Deli when we moved out of the valley and out of state, so were thrilled to have the opportunity for a recent return visit, and just like with an old friend, we were right back at home. Almost nothing beats a scrumptious Reuben and Art's is that and then some. Large enough to share, along... More

This is bar none the best deli in the LA area. Both my wife and I lived there for years, and recently returned to find that the same Studio City location that we recall from 28 years ago, is still serving up incredible pastrami on rye. The service is great, the food is event better. Having been everywhere from NY's... More

We came at the end of the day, the place was deserted. The wait staff was pleasant. the food was good, but $18 for a corned beef sandwich??? And, it wasn't even the one with way too much meat.

An extensive menu of deli type food. Great combos of sandwiches are offered. I had a yummy chopped liver dish ... Wonderful !! I'll be back to try many of their dishes.

Haven't been to a true Good Deli in a few years(none in my area) and visiting friends we came to Art's and OH MY GOSH .... We so enjoyed it and we were stuffed and decided to come back before we left..The Pastrami sandwich is HUGE, the Chicken Liver Pate was wonderful and the Rye bread just doesn't get any... More

I have been to Art's Deli a couple of times now, to meet with local friends who eat there quite often. It's a large, old-fashioned deli where people "from the industry" meet, as one of the local shop keepers told me. The sandwiches are humongous, the salads equally as huge, and the waiters are friendly and attentive. Definitely a place... More

Drove 40 miles to have breakfast here. There's just not very many places left like this anymore. Very old-school pretty expensive. But I definitely go back and the drive was worth it.

Located on the very busy section on Ventura, closed to Laurel Canyon Blvd, this deli is in business since 1957 with old style booth, decor and to some extend ... clientele. We ordered a soup and a plate of lox for two ... and for this price, the capers & pickles were missing. There were no bialy on the menu... More

Art's Deli is an excellent place if you're pining for an oversized pastrami sandwich. Their rye bread is fresh and a good texture. They'll bring you a plate of great pickles. The portions are on the scale of Carnegie Deli in NY. Heart attack sized. Service is good and there are many menu options especially Eastern European Jewish specialties like... More
