This place is a piece of Tunisia in the heart of LA. At first we had our doubts when we walked in and saw that it was empty, yet we soon discovered that our doubts were unfounded. The service was excellent and quick, the food was really authentic and tasty , especially the couscous. Some nights, they bring belly dancers... More

Had dinner there last night. The food was great, the service from Christopher was great, he explained what each dish was, and what was in it. Donya the belly dancer was fun. Our group was from 25 - 80 years old, and the oldest one of us was the first to get up and dance. We had a wonderful time,... More

Had a birthday party here and it was great! Delicious food and belly dancing in our own room. It was a long time ago so I can't remember the dishes, sorry.

I have to say that I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It's very hard to find and it shares its building with another business towards the back. The interior is definitely in need of some maintenance and the cushions around the tables are pretty worn out. We were there on one of LA's chilling nights and... More

My family enjoys Moun of Tunis every time we are in Los Angeles and used to eat here often when we lived in the area. While it is hard to find due to being in a location which kind of hides the building, it is worth finding. The seating is large banquettes covered in soft pillows upon which customers lounge.... While visiting family in Hollywood, we ran across this somewhat hidden gem. My wife and I have acquired a taste for authentic Morroccan food thanks to a superb Chicago restaurant called Shokran. We decided to see if Moun of Tunis could hold a candle to our Chicago favorite. The answer was a resounding

Very small place, but was a very different experience for us since we had never eaten Moroccan food before. Paul, our waiter helped us order by explaining everything in detail. The food kept coming at just the right pace. Everything was tasty, and hot. The folks that rated this place badly just need to stay home and fix their own... More

We ate here as part of a larger group...spent $150 for a half chicken to share among the 4 of us. The first course was some greasy fried thing filled with egg and potato that I couldn't eat. The second course was a plate of salads; I enjoyed these but I ended up eating way too much bread trying to... More

A good new fun experience for us; dining Tunisian style. We were seated on couches around a table and ate with our fingers. We chose one of the banquets; the food was tasty and plentiful and inexpensive. Were thete on a weeknight and the service was prompt and very helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
