We met family for brunch on a recent rainy Sunday. We had the breakfast sandwich (awesome) and other great selections. The view was amazing (right on the beach). We will come back again for sure. We had a booth right by the window.

When your best tasting item is the sourdough bread you are in trouble. I have been to Gladstones numerous times to watch a football game or take out of towners for the food. The place is right on the water and the service it great. Just know you are not going there for the food.

The clam chowder & Maryland crab cakes are on point with the exception of portion size. We had a wedge salad & fish tacos also which was only pretty good. The real experience is to get a window seat and watch the waves roll in. Parking in their lot is currently $9

Visited for lunch on the way to Getty Villa. The parking was expensive to start. Decor of the restaurant is nautical and the view is actually very good - be sure to book a seat near the window. The bad points are the waitstaff and food. The staff werd all men. It was like a college frathouse, they were very... More

Five star views of Pacific Ocean along with great food - cocktails - great staff and you have a perfect midday with family and friends! A don't miss if you are looking for the perfect blend of locals - views - food and drink! Never disappointing!

We had a good experience. Food was okay and the view was very good. A little expensive. Service was fast and friendly.

We stopped on a drive up the Pacific Coast Highway for a late lunch outdoors overlooking the ocean. The food was excellent, and the wait staff attentive, but the outdoor environment was the real draw. Menu prices tended on the high side for what was essentially casual dining. The huge downer was when we were presented with a bill for... More

Terrible service food average and overpriced! We are foodies. I would never go back! Back in the day 80's this place was the bomb! What a let down wish I had stopped at one of the other better choices along the drive instead of holding out for the place that "use to be the PLACE"

This time it didn't work out. The kitchen did a good job. The servers didn't. I had to wait three times unnecessary. That's to much. In this Price Region You have to do it better. 😒😒😒

Sat outside overlooking the ocean and the beach. Some great drinks, a Strawberry Daquiri and an Margarita as well as Calamari and lobster and Brussel sprouts and broccoli. I did like that no one rushed us to move the table and service was good. Prices a bit on the high side but I find that true when you get good... More

In a world where landmarks are few and far between there is Gladstone's. Situated where Sunset Boulevard meets the Pacific Coast Highway, it's become a place of Southern California legend. One visit and you'll see why. Gladstones offers a menu plucked from the very ocean it overlooks, serving modern renditions of classic dishes as well as favorites from the land. In its typically relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, there's something to satisfy every palate. Whether you're at the raw bar, the lounge, the dining rooms or the grand patio overlooking the surf, it's commonly agreed there's no better place on the coast to enjoy fresh seafood, a Mai Tai or the most beautiful sunset views in SoCal. Book a reservation by phone or web or stop by and enjoy the experience.
