The Queensview Steakhouse is on the third floor of Parkers Lighthouse offering a nearly 360 degree panorama of the harbor that includes the Queen Mary and city. Service was exceptional the team of servers worked together very well. The food was excellent, we all started with the house salad (classic wedge with blue cheese), I had the 7 ounce filet with 2 pan seared scallops all of which was exceptional. For sides we went with the sprouts and corn both of which were delicious. They brought me 2 wines to try (an old vines zin and a cab, both delicious, but the cab paired better). Delicious and the steak house I’d recommend over the others in town.

As the name states, nice view of the Queen Mary. We had a table on the top floor of the building overlooking the water and the Queen Mary. Love piano music played in the evening. Had a 7oz fillet and shared sides; all were excellent. Note that the steak does not come with any sides; sides are a la carte and are large enough to share for 2!or possibley 3 people. The steak was cooked perfectly. The waiters were prompt and had enjoyable personalities.

The food is absolutely spectacular. One of the best meals we've had in Long Beach. Staff was super friendly. Wonderful ambience and incredible views of the harbor.

I had planned ahead for a very special 30th anniversary trip to Long Beach prior to a very special 15 day cruise for our 30th anniversary. I made a reservation with Queensview Steakhouse 90 days prior to the day of our cruise departure. I received a reservation confirmation from Queensview and then never received any additional communication until the day prior to our departure from Atlanta, GA. One day prior to our arrival in Long Beach, Queensviuew called me to advise me that they would have to cancel my reservation due to a private party they schedule for the day we were supposed to celebrate our 30th anniversary dinner. They offered ZERO compensation and no assistance in making another reservation in the Long Beach area. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant and certainly never give this restaurant my business if I happen to again visit the Long Beach area. I feel quite sure that my residence in Atlanta was the reason Queensview showed no concern in cancelling a reservation for a very special occasion that I had made 90 days in advance. Shame on you Queensview for spoiling a very special occasion for my wife and myself.

Queensview Steakhouse is a extremely disappointing place for food, service, and ambiance. I should have walked out the door but I was hungry and it was late. Everyone we encountered was rude so we ordered the following items just to get out of the place: - The crispy calamari wasn't crispy but totally soggy with too much breading. - The lobster bisque had imitation lobster which floated in a bowl of mostly water. - The filet mignon was the worse cut I've ever had, wasn't cooked at the right temperature, and was tough. - The Yucatán chicken was tough and stringy. I'll never come back here nor recommend it to my friends.

I found this place on TripAdvisor, and wanted to go there for dinner on our first night in Long Beach. After a long day of slogging through the snow for 2 hours trying to get out to Chicago, I needed something good. When we arrived, we ended up being seated at Parker's Lighthouse, which is 2 floors below this on the ground floor. The menu didn't match, so we asked and found out we had to go UP to find the Queensview Steakhouse. So up the stairs (they also have an elevator) we went to enjoy a nice dinner. They had entertainment playing, which was welcome and appreciated. The performer was on the electric piano, and kept us entertained even over the din of some barflys who came in more interested in drinks than good food. You can in fact see the Queen Mary in the distance out the windows. The view was very nice. I started with an order of wine - they happened to have a nice vintage of Jordan Cabernet for a price that wasn't crazy high. My wife enjoyed their Citrus Scallops, while I enjoyed their 10 ounce filet mignon. For sides, I enjoyed their sauteed spinach, and my wife had their truffle fries. We wrapped up with a slice of Chocolate Cake, which was very good. Service was a bit slow at times - our bartender was also our server. Still, the food was good, and the cake - wow. Look this place up, and make the trip up. You'll be glad you did. And your bill will say Parker's Lighthouse anyway.

We were a large party and everyone’s food was exceptionally good. The filet mignon was the best ever. The people who ordered the Chilean sea bass were extremely pleased with the quality and portion sizes. The 3 piece jazz band was an added bonus to the ambience. So, why a 4 star rating instead of 5? The service was disappointing. For such an expensive meal (about $100 per person) in a prestigious location, we expected a higher level of service and should not have asked multiple times for basic items. Yes, we will definitely be back and look forward to more experienced waiters with fine dining experience.

The Queensview Steakhouse is probably the most amazing dining experience I have had in Long Beach, California. The view is spectacular and only equaled by the food and service. Hubby ordered the lamb chops - he deemed them cooked to perfection. Our friends ordered the lobster and steak - both went home raving (and with doggy bags due to generous portions.). I had the sea bass and it was AMAZING! We ordered the lobster Mac and Brussel sprouts family style to share. More than enough for four was served, and again, left-overs filled a bag for us to enjoy the next day. I have eaten at a lot of high end restaurants and feel that I can judge great service. Thus, I am pleased to say the service at this one was impeccable. Adam (who joked his name was Trevor) - was super attentive, as was all of the staff. Lastly, the cappuccino was one of the best I have EVER tasted. A Must Order! Queensview Steakhouse is a dining experience for special occasions and also for when you just want a fabulous meal with a view that is exceptional.

Had a recent business trip to Long Beach. Took the team here for dinner. Had a last minute reservation that they were able to honor. Service was excellent, did a great job recommending wine and beer to go with dinner. Wait staff selected our appetizers of oysters and crab cakes, great choices. I had the filet and was done properly. Dessert was also served family style and all really enjoyed. Would definitely go back.

Scheduled a family dinner reservation for 20 people for Friday evening in the Queensview Room. Arrived early to make sure all was ready, only to find out that the Event Planner had scheduled the dinner for the following evening! Fortunately, the staff is first-class so immediately setup an alternate table (although not window view as reserved) for the group, and no one except the host knew of the mistake. Food was terrific. And waiter gave free champagne to all to apologize for the scheduling error. But no apology from the Event Planner. So I would not recommend a large group reservation at this restaurant.

Queensview Steakhouse has exceptional steaks that are perfectly cooked. They have delicious and not too huge baked potatoes (but still enough to take home for later), and refreshing and creative salads that are perfect to share. Their wine list is long with many top-notch offerings and plenty of mid-price points, too. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgable and checked out what was in sauces so I could avoid things I'm allergic to. And since we were there for my husband's birthday, the restaurant helped us celebrate with a creme brûlée that was the perfect amount of creamy and crunchy. We had a delightful celebratory dinner and enjoyed watching the boats and the Queen Mary. This place is ideal for special occasions. The only downside to the whole experience was basically being told you can have still or sparkling bottled water with no other options. The still bottle was $7.

We had a large group and enjoyed a beautiful view of the Long Beach Harbor. There was an outstanding trio playing music. The beef was excellent. I will definitely go back.

Queensview Steakhouse offers some great views but is overpriced for the quality of food that is served. Went there expecting too much apparently on Christmas Eve. The steak was good but not great and had barely any flavor. Also ordered the swordfish. It is important to cook swordfish properly for ultimate favor...this swordfish was over cooked and lacked flavor. Lastly, we ordered masked potatoes to go with our meal, not sure how anybody can mess up mashed potatoes, but these were watered down and also w lacked any flavor. Unfortunately prices are way over the top for the quality, presentation, and especially the taste of food.

A foodie friend of mine recommended this restaurant and he got it right. I love the ambiance with the windows all to the sea and the view of the Queen Mary hence the name. We had a wonderful window table which was requested at the time of reservations. Our waiter Mike was very attentive even though he had a large table next to us. We started with a bottle of Prisoner which is really good with meat. We also had Cocktails. Onion Rings starter is a must as they are battered and full of juicy ,sweet onions. My Husband had the bone in Rib Eye and it had great flavor but wasn't as tender as he likes. My Friend ordered Filet Oscar with a side of Lobster Tail and she was very happy. I ordered the Crab Cake appetizer and it was the best I have had in the City. I don't like a lot of filler and they make a fat patty that is all Crab...Bravo! We lastly had a Crème Brule that was perfect! Davis the Manager checked on our table to make sure we were happy and yes David we were very happy. This Restaurant is very high end and the prices reflect that.
