Circa 62 has an unusual menu in an historic building from 1862. Great service and food. Ask for a table by the front window so you can watch the birds feeding on the seed distributed in the garden.

Charming building, nicely laid out restaurant with intimate seating in small rooms. They put feed out so that you can watch birds and chipmunks outside the windows. The food was good, I really liked the French toast and the strong coffee.

The wait staff at The Heritage House where we were staying told us that if we wanted a good breakfast we should eat at Circa 62. They undersold the spot. It was a GREAt breakfast. We got there early, god a corner table overlooking the...More

I have been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks, it's excellent! The service is great, and so friendly. Every time I go I have the Pollo con pollo dish, without the eggs. I actually still get the eggs but give them to my...More

Circa '62 is a quaint little restaurant at the inn at Schoolhouse Creek. My favorite item on the breakfast menu is the Chia Seed Pudding with Brulee'd bananas. But almost everything is yummy. I wouldn't order the almond flour pancakes though. They taste like cardboard....More

Believe all the reviews. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Not a place to rush through a meal. Just sit and enjoy your time there. Only open until 11:00 am. Also it is small so most likely a wait. Put your self on...More

Love love this place. A tiny restaurant with a minimal staff that puts out some seriously delicious food. Circa 62 is a like walking into someone's home, it's inviting and homy. The wait staff is super friendly and attentive. But the food is what makes...More

Best breakfast ever. The food was amazing. There are five of us and everything was amazing. Best bacon we have ever had. Try the French toast and the crab cakes. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The wait staff were knowledgeable and fun. But the food was the show stopper. We had a variety of breakfast options and each one looked and tasted truly yummy. And isn't that what you want in a local cafe?

Description
Open Daily at 8:00 + Open to the Public! In 1862, just ten years following the arrival of the first settlers on the Mendocino Coast (and a year before Lincoln's Gettysburg Address), mill owner and rancher Charles Perkins, built the Inn's historic Ledford Farmhouse. In 1888, Perkins built a mansion on the hill to the south of the Inn and, in so doing, renovated the farmhouse to give to his daughter as a wedding present. The coffered old growth redwood ceilings you see while dining at Circa '62 were added for the wedding and were quite the statement of affluence and style for the time. We do our best to live up to the beauty of Mr. Perkins home(yes, some of our guests and staff believe he's still here) by serving a great breakfast that shows off the best local stuff, has a sense of fun and is really just an extension of our own home... We can't wait to meet you!
