Great food and wine. Nice ambience. Cool bar and bartender. Did I say there is great food and wine? Between this place and Pizzeria Picco, there is a monopoly on excellent food/wine here in Larkspur. Hard to go wrong with either. I think I've had every dish on the menu over the course of the last 4 years.

Very, very good place. Very inventive chef, with lots of dishes with a different touch. We were a party of four, who had 4 different entree, 1 salad (beet) and 3 appetizers, all of which were really excellent and inventive. Very lively, some would say noisy, scene. If you are looking for fine dining, it would be hard to beat... More

We met good friends for dinner. It is a very popular restaurant so reservations in advance are necessary. The food is excellent - we started with 3 appetizers, brussell sprouts, mushrooms and avocado toast - I could have eaten all three by myself for my meal. Instead I had the sea bass which was perfectly cooked. Our meal was a... More

Our family managed to get a reservation at Picco the day after Christmas to celebrate my husband's birthday. Although we had read reviews that this was an outstanding place, everything about the evening charmed and delighted. The octopus was the most perfectly cooked and prepared that I have ever eaten. Even the broccoli was prepared with such care. The waitperson... More

Went with a friend to this very popular restaurant. Friend lives locally so knew that it was necessary not only to book but to book an early slot as later it can become not only very busy but very noisy. Our waiter gave us excellent service and was happy not only to make recommendations but also to answer any of... More

Had dinner with some friends and had a wonderful evening. After initially seating us in the front room at an awkwardly shaped table, they graciously moved us to the back room to a square, much quieter table. They have wonderful small plates to share - we had them one at a time and really savored the unusual and delicious flavors.... More

The food at Picco's is excellent. Appetizer: Avocado Burrata was just perfect and artfully served all things considered. Beet salad was fresh and crisp. California burrata salad was also fresh and delightful. The vegetable, roasted market squash, pumpkin puree, warm spices, pomegranate salsa rustica was unique and done perfectly. Another vegetable crispy fried brussels sprouts, asian pear, hobbs bacon, meyer... More

Nice and comfortable restaurant. Great food and good service. I love the risotto! It changes every time to reflect fresh veggies of the season. Made every half hour. Must order! Avocado bruschettas are another favorite along with the Ahi tuna tartare. Great items in the menu. A lot of nuts and seeds this last time we were there making it... More

3 women had several items on the menu and 4 drinks in all and came away close to $200 with appetites lightly sated. High 5's for tuna tartar, brussel sprouts and the caesar salad from next door pizzeria..The risotto was tasty, tho not overwhelming for the price, and the kampachi was 4 tiny tiny bites which we would not order...
