They staff at this small restaurant over looking what use to be lake isabella is FANTASTIC !!! The servers and the cooks go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is happy. The "SALOON" is only open for special occasions. But you are...welcome to sit in the dining room and have a drink. We will gladly drive to this restaurant again.More

We were very disappointed to receive lobsters that were both tough and dry, when reported to the waitress we received no apology only I’ll tell the chef. At $56.00 each we were not offered a discount on that meal or the next. I must say...this restaurant had been my favorite until this experience and there steaks have been good. This was a birthday celebration dinner and I was terribly disappointed not just by the terrible lobster but by the establishments reaction.More

Weren’t able to try the prime rib as we came on Thursday. Only served on Friday Saturday Sunday. But all was great, old school full meal with salad, bread, potato and dessert. Recommended. No need to dress up, but top notch old school meal.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We drove 1-1/2 hours to get here and we are so glad that we did. The food, service and the view were wonderful. My husband said that the prime rib was the best that he had had in...many years. My scallops were equally as good. The service was very quick, never having to wait for drink refills or anything else. The meal is all inclusive from the raw vegetables with dipping sauce, salad, entree to the dessert at the end. The view of Lake Isabella is beautiful and calming. This is a wonderful place which we will recommend to our friends.More

Wow, what a lovely place. We had a delicious meal here, the menu was great, the service was excellent. We both had the Idaho trout fillets and they just melted in our mouths. The view of the lake made the whole experience fabulous. Would definitely...recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the Lake Isabella area.More

First of all, the view is amazing. My waitress was really nice and very attentive. The meal starts with a tray of vegetables with dipping sauce followed by a nice salad tossed right at the table along with buttered garlic toast. I had the portobello...mushroom ravioli, which were huge and covered in a creamy sauce. There was a choice of baked potato or steak fries and I got the fries, which were some of the best fries I’ve had! Finally a choice of sherbet or cheesecake comes with the meal. The cheesecake was very tasty. All in all, a great meal with a fantastic view of the lake.More

Okay, if you walk in, you are not sure this is the place you red about in below reviews. But once you have talked with the friendly staff, and most of all: once you are tasting the food, you know you found the right place....One of the best restaurant in the US we visited so far. Tip: the prime rib, rare. Never had it better. Thanks for a great experience.More
