Las Brisas was recommended as top 10 places to dine in Laguna Beach and we can see why. We were very impressed! The outdoor ambiance was incredibly beautiful with the ocean view, the service was very attentive and the food was pleasing to our eyes...& palate. This was our first time visiting Laguna Beach as well as our first restaurant dining here. We had 4-course brunch offered on weekends from 8-3pm for $49 and bottomless mimosa was $17 extra but I was driving so didn’t get to splurge on mimosa. We ordered salmon tostada & yogurt as appetizers and had steak & lobster enchiladas and french toast as entrees and trio of sorbet as our dessert. Bread & fruit bowl was also served as the first course and a few menu items were offered for an additional fee. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed dining here! We definitely want to return here soon.More

Went here for dinner with colleagues. I found the food and service to be quite good. But the view looking down the cliff side to Laguna Beach was fantastic! I’ll return

On the recommendation of a friend we made a Saturday evening reservation specifically to watch the sun set and we were not disappointed! Upon learning that sunset would be no later than 5 pm, but reservation wasn’t until 6 NO problem. Bar, hostess and dining...staff ALL took great care of us and the evening was perfect ❤️ The meal was delicious and our server recommended a great wine to pair with the meal. Great evening!More

We went there with the family for no special occasion. We had teh oysters and the tuna. The tuna was nice to seen and taste. The oysters was a complete disaster. The oysters were too smal to eat. These were probably 00 while in Europe...from 0000 are served to eat. That for this price, this was pethatic. We also had main courses, in this restaurant called "entrees". We had chicken, scallops and lamb chops. These were all nice. The service was nice though not outstanding.More

ordered the Habitat fish and steak and lobster enchilada. The food was absolutely terrible. Paid $110 for 2 food and 2 drink and it was the worse food I had in my entire life. the only reason, they got 2 stars is due to the...fact of the view of the beach.More

Gorgeous outdoor seating near the cliffs of Laguna, nice server but they kept forgetting our order or messing things up. They need to improve their organization. The food was good though and it is worth a revisit.

Las Brisas was the perfect place to host a milestone birthday for our party of 28. Joanna made the reservation process so easy and the entire staff put so much care and effort in to this special event. We - and our guests would highly...recommend throwing a private party here! We were seated at a long table in their "Laguna Room" and fortunately we had excellent weather with a spectacular sunset and city light views. The photos taken outside prior to the party turned our great also with the views and lighting. Valet parking, no stairs, perfect - especially for some guests. Welcome drink was a Cadillac Margarita and "The Wood's Cove Dinner" started with freshly made guacamole, roasted salsas and appetizer of shrimp and crab ceviche. All the dinners and dessert were excellently prepared and served, halibut was amazing and large servings. Matt, the main server and Paul left nothing to worry about, very available and even helped light the bday cake, get wines, covered all bases. We can't say enough on how impressed we were. Really a wonderful evening with happy party guests!More

Food was mediocre and expensive. $40 for shrimp and crab relenos that were flavorless and had very little shrimp and crabs. $17 spicy margaritas were ok but lacking tequila and regular house margarita for $15 was a mix. Disappointing for a restaurant that was supposedly...one of the best in the area. Kale salad was decent but seared tuna app was uninspired and skimpy. Relenos tasted as if they had been frozen and reheated. We were comped a tres leches cake and it was wet and flavorless. Overall extremely disappointing. They are coasting on their view and past repMore

PERFECTION - Mike Steel was the best server I have encountered all year - he was 5-STAR all the way - he got everything we asked for right the first time including lemon, lime, cucumber, and mint for our waters. He even warmed the cream...so it wouldn’t cool off my Americano. We never had to ask for anything twice. We never had to look for him when we needed anything yet he was not a nuisance - he was friendly, professional, clearly at ease with all people and we never felt out of place - we never felt rushed to leave so they could seat the next party - we were allowed to eat, drink, be merry and soak in that gorgeous view for as long as we wanted - the owner was equally welcoming and quite the comedian - all the employees were happy and pleasant which is a sign of healthy workplace environment - when we finally did decide to call it a night, a nice little touch for the valet parking was they handed us cold waters and these really tasty chocolate chip cookies- I highly recommend Las Brisis - if you sit outside, you will have an ocean front view and close enough to hear the crashing of the waves and if you sit inside at one of those large picture windows, you’ll get that same view you as well. It is quite the Laguna Beach dining experience and well worth the drive. Las Brisis once again did not disappoint!More

Very pretty location but the Caesar salad was not too tasty, . No crisp to lettuce, croutons untoasted and flavorless. Skimpy Dressing with a hint of garlic and no anchovies. And e xpensive. My Chile rellenos were ok, spicy, deep fried and the sauce overpowered the...shrimp and crab so I couldn’t taste them. My husbands chicken mole enchilada was the best dish at $38.00 for two enchiladas. I would not go back, nor would I recommend this restaurant. There are so many excellent Mexican restaurants in the area. We pay for the scenery.More

It seems the negative reviews on this page are from people with unrealistic expectations who clearly don't have the money to spend in the first place. Saturday Brunch was fantastic. Food was great and our server and the other staff were professional and friendly. Our...champagne glasses were never empty and the food and dirty martinis were great. Obviously part of the cost is the location and view. It's simple...don't go if you can't afford it.More
