This bistro is an upscale spot for a drink or casual meal in Lafayette. The interior is comfortably dark and intimate. There’s a TV over the bar for watching the current sports events. We had a glass of wine and a cocktail. On the rocks beverages are a good value. The dinner menu is somewhat limited but should have a... More

We are longtime guests of hotel and restaurant/bar. This is the first time we had a negative experience. We tried the bar twice during our stay to have drinks and dinner. The first time we left because no one would greet us or take a drink order. It was busy but not too busy. The second time we had got... More

The food at this restaurant is incredible. Whether it be the appetizer, main course or deserts -- all just amazing. The salmon and steaks are absolutely terrific, not to mention the salads and deserts.

I love it here . Good atmosphere . Good good . The servers are so friendly but honestly they do not pay attention a lot of the time .. so they ask if you'd like a drink but it doesn't come till after the meal ... also it's too dark . If you are not going to have candles at... More

This is a charming spot, small, with full bar. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Entrees very appealing and tasty. A little pricey but not outrageous. Wait staff generally terrific, though service can be slow at busy periods.

It had been a few years since we had eaten at the Lafayette Park Hotel, even though we live fairly near. We decided to give it a try for a family birthday dinner. We were absolutely delighted. The cocktails were creative and delicious, the food was wonderful and the service was excellent. It was the perfect place to celebrate a... More

I don't eat in the hotel's restaurant but have eaten in the bar area several times over the past 20 years. Yes, I'm a local. The only and I mean only problem with it is that it fills up quickly around dinner time. They have limited seating. Otherwise the food is excellent, reasonably priced, and service is fast and very... We truly appreciate hearing from you and I'm very pleased that you enjoy the food service. The Bar is very popular and is on a first come first serve basis. To avoid the chance of a wait we do offer the Bistro dining room where reservations can be made in advance. We look forward to welcoming you back for many... More

Stopped in for a drink after dinner and found the bar charming and comfortable. Indoor area with fireplace and a heated enclosed outdoor area -- which was warm even though it was raining outside. Good drinks and a varied menu -- served at the bar and in the main dining room.

The best French Onion Soup in the lower 48 States. Long term employees are eager to please. This is a must stop and it is right next to the Hotel.
