After playing in the Cove, we chose the Brockton for it's historical appearance and view. The food was wonderful and there was something that appealed to each of four different tastes. It was fun to watch the Cove and the wide variety of people!

Breakfasts are my favorite here. Their French "Coast" Toast is amazing. It's like a souffle. The Crab Cake Benedict is super yummy. Coffee drinks are excellent. The Cove is directly across the street. Ask for a table outside in good weather, which is most of...More

We were looking for a place with a delicious breakfast and ocean view. Brockton Villa exceeded our expectations. The view was out of this world. We could hear the sea lions and see the entire bay from our table. We were the first ones there...More

First, we really enjoyed the view. But, to be up front, since the restaurant is adjacent to the sea lions and the cove, it was pretty stinky. I didn't mind too much, but my wife's breakfast was spoiled a bit by the smell. Nevertheless the...More

A highly recommended breakfast place with locals and non residents. It is in a charming old house overlooking Seal Point and La Jolla Cove. (Points off for that horrible smell, even tho it certainly isn't their fault.) Anyway, back to breakfast, when in La Jolla...More
