Try the Chilaquiles! They are delish. Our waiter was great as well! Be sure to sit on the patio for a view of the ocean! Awesome.

Fantastic atmosphere, sat outside on deck looking down toward the cove. Menu was unique and offered many choices. I had the Chilaquiles, which was the best combination of flavor and texture I've ever experienced with a breakfast! My companion had the Crab Cakes Benedict and raved about them. Portions were hearty and stayed with us through the day of many... More

Usually very crowded, so get there early, and if not, be prepared to stand in line..but frankly it is worth it. Very small site, open for breakfast and lunch only, but they have some delightful dishes, such as Farmers Market Omelet, with Goat cheese, spinach, tomatoes and a great side of grits or grilled potatoes.

We had a great brunch at Cody's. I had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and my husband had the French Toast. Both were excellent. We got a great table with a view of La Jolla cove. It was lovely. Waiter was great. My husband was going to get the chicken and bisquits and the waiter told him that it wasn't... More

Sit outside on the Veranda, great view down to the ocean. Just a cool place to hang for breakfast or lunch. Good choice of food. Provided extra fruit for breakfast as my wife has Coeliacs so couldn't have granola. $50 for breakfast does still seem a lot but it just seemed to cost that wherever we went.

Loved my "awesome" French toast with really thick bread and fluffy butter. The side of bacon you can order separately is basically a plate of bacon for 2-3 people. Great view from the deck too!

When staying in La Jolla, make sure to stop in at Cody's. It is right on the Cove and next to La Valencia. Breakfast foods served all day make for a great brunch. Quintessential beach restaurant. Outside seating has a fabulous view of the ocean. Huevos Rancheros (with a pomegranate mimosa) , biscuits and gravy and country breakfast were all... More

A smaller menu, but they do it all well. The view is incredible, the food is good and the portions are large. Walk down the the cove when you're dinished!
