Went to Eddie V's for lunch a couple of weeks ago as part of a three day trip to Southern California with my college roommates. The food was delicious, matched only by the attentive service and the spectacular views of the cove and the ocean. The bread was to die for.Highly recommended!!

We ate dinner there last night for the first time. I had lobster bisque and filet of lemon sole.My dish was very good. we had a personable waiter, and the manager stopped by a couple of times. It was expensive but no more than the better restaurants in the San Diego area. My one complaint was that the restaurant was very... More

The food is good, happy hour prices made the meal much more of a value. The lamb lollipops were tender and tasty. The shrimp was good, however a little over bread crumbs. Would have loved a lighter presentation. Kera our server was fast, friendly, and very upbeat. I would definitely return and give this place a try for a five... More

We had a business dinner here. It was elegant and the food was so fresh and cooked to perfection! The drinks were great and the wine list was very nice as well. We sat and talked and never felt rushed. Would be happy to go there again.

Had dinner with the kids. Sat outside. Nice view to the cove. Service not attentive and slow. Waiter gone for prolonged periods and unpleasant when present. Poor lighting. Steaks were good, halibut wasn't. Not best with kids at least for dinner time. Better choices in La Jolla

Had a nice happy hour on the patio. I'd give the calamari a pass as it was greasy. The food is average but the atmosphere and view are great.

Wonderful dining experience right on the water...our meal was fantastic. Their desserts are delicious especially the banana foster. Kids menu was great too! We asked to dine outside and had the most amazing views. You could literally hear all the sea lions barking!

I have had good experiences dining at Eddie V’s in Seaport Village. For that reason I looked forward to dining at their La Jolla restaurant with my girlfriend on a special occasion. I informed them of the occasion and requested a window table. When we arrived they led us to their upper floor where a band was playing intrusively loud... More
