Second time around and it was same great food, vibe and service! Three of us and we ate and talked so much. Food was seriously good here. We didn't have quails tonight because of our friend could not cope with the idea but chicken wings...More

Enjoyed sharing a variety of tasty dishes. Wait staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the lamb shoulder and Sigera Boregi - cheese filled cigar pastries. Hope to be back next time we visit Melbourne.

Great food. love the Labne and almond dip, the snapper and the slow cooked lamb drops off the bone. The banquet is a lot of food so come with an appetite. The freekah salad was a bit chewy and would have loved pomgranate fruit rather...More

Food nice but not what I expected. The fried cauliflower was burnt. The menu choice is either a banquet or order individual dishes. The dessert was not worth the extra money you pay for Turkish delight and poached can apricots.

Most reviewers seem to love Rumi. I was far less enamoured. Fairly pedestrian menu offerings with nothing rising above average In taste, complexity or presentation. The braised greens were laughable, consisting of a few puny strands of broccolini. Service was perfunctory though pleasant; drinks service...More

Rumi knows how to look after big groups - friendly, knowledgable and eager to help you have a great night. The food is first rate (most small share plates have four items, while sensational chicken wings had six). We ordered lamb shoulder, snapper, prawns, mushroom...More
