Food nice but not what I expected. The fried cauliflower was burnt. The menu choice is either a banquet or order individual dishes. The dessert was not worth the extra money you pay for Turkish delight and poached can apricots.

We knew that this would be a good eating experience when we joined the queues waiting for the restaurant to open. We were not disappointed. The efficient staff made you feel very welcome. We had a delicious dish of hummus with calamari, three cheese borek,...More
What more could you want when you go out for dinner! Great and interesting food, well cooked , well seasoned , well priced , good presentation and good size. Service was attentive, friendly and helpful esp the guy who ran front of house, the girls...More
Most reviewers seem to love Rumi. I was far less enamoured. Fairly pedestrian menu offerings with nothing rising above average In taste, complexity or presentation. Rumi knows how to look after big groups - friendly, knowledgable and eager to help you have a great night. The food is first rate (most small share plates have four items, while sensational chicken wings had six). We ordered lamb shoulder, snapper, prawns, mushroom...More

Came here with a friend for a Wednesday night dinner, and I think the solid turnout for a weeknight is a testament to how great this place is. We shared four dishes: the sigara (cheese cigars), persian meatballs, chicken wings from the grill and the...More
I recently dined at Rumi as part of a group function, with a pre-set and pre-paid banquet dinner, so am not familiar with the broader menu offerings, nor the individual prices; however the dishes I had were lovely and I would definitely return with friends...More
A very enjoyable visit to Rumi - service was attentive and food was very good. Just one quibble - the serving of trout was rather small so not much to share between 4 people!
