Very good meal, service was a little slow but to compensate us the server did not charge for our drinks. Nice children's menu

Food was excellent, and in particular the braised short ribs. Yummy! The ahi appetizer and Caesar salad also good. The salad is shareable for three people...could easily be a meal with added fish or chicken. But don't miss the short ribs. Our server was also great....a local fellow.
This place has always had a great setting with amazing views. This year they have upgraded their menu with food quality to match.
We were planing on staying here January 8 for a few days (a holiday weekend at that). They had 7 feet of snow the week before and the power was out. We decided to attempt to go there knowing the situation but had hoped that the power would be restored by the time we arrive. Well it wasn't. When our... More
My wife and family have eaten here for many years. What people have to realize is restaurants in the Tahoe area are seasonal and it is difficult to keep great chef's and staff, so learn to order knowing this. During the off-season set your expectation accordingly. The service and food were great and Monday nights all main courses are 1/2... More
This restaurant is situated on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. I mean ON THE SHORE. They even have a pier to sail your boat up to if you chose to come by water with a water valet during the summer. The view is stunning looking across the lake at the mountains on the east shore (Nevada side). Watching the... More
I really don't like to write bad reviews of restaurants, and try to give the benefit of the doubt. But our experience of a few of the dishes we ordered here was frankly horrifying! The halibut was terribly overcooked and tasteless. It came with an equally bland side of couscous, and a tiny piece of chard. For dessert, we ordered... More

We do take all feedback we receive and use it improve upon our service and make adjustments to our offerings. I will be sure to bring up... More
The food was good rather than exceptional, but the view was exceptional. A good Maitre D should be the conductor rather than the star of the show. This one quickly lost interest once he realised that we we only having a main course and beer, a smaller bill a smaller tip. After that it was hard to get his attention... More

We stopped here after checking Trip Advisor. We were so glad we did. They were able to seat us right away. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. My fiance had a bad cold and they made him a hot toddy which was perfect! We loved the entrees. Halibut with couscous, sauce of red pepper and yellow pepper, mild and... More
