Excellent rolls, traditional Japanese and grilled meats. Best to sit at the Sushi bar. Great at lunch.

Place can't be beat, tried several sushi spots in Hayward, union city, San leandro. None come close to Tomodachi place is large but fills up fast recommend getting there early or sit at sushi bar, Benny is the man there
Sushi and Sashimi was extremely fresh and beautifully presented. The servers were attentive, but didn't hover. The room is beautifully decorated and restrooms very clean. I've always had exceptional meals at Tomodachi.
