Miramar Beach Restaurant has a fabulous view sitting as it does right on the water. The menu is not special but the food is tasty and the portions are not small. Full bar and a bit noisy make it hard to hear, but the view can't be beat. They have lots of specials and special night features you can take... More

My wife and I both had fish tacos which came with no sides. The tacos were average. We ordered french fries which were really good. I had ice tea which tasted like an instant tea. Not worth the money.

If you are lucky to make reservations for a window seating you will enjoy one of the best ocean views. The food is good not bad and mostly caters to the tourist crowd. Weekend are very busy son make sure to make reservations early.

This ole prohibition roadhouse does not store illegal liquor any more but it manages to offer delicious meals in a spectacular setting. The light fixtures may be dated but the cozy bar layout with a pianist playing is still a huge hit. Easy to carry on a conversation. Outdoor seating while listening to crashing waves is available upon request. It... More

Good spot to hang out to whale watch. Nice sunset views and so close you can experience the sounds of the surf. Outside patio has fire pits which you can dine by. This is a favorite spot and live music inside on weekend make it romantic.

Where else can you sit at a window seat, enjoying a terrific meal, while watching a stunning sunset . . . or powerful waves . . . or whales frolicking nearby . . .or sea birds diving for their dinner? We've never been disappoited with their menu, their service, or their ambience.

I love a place that has a story. it makes you feel connected to the others who visited before you, back in the day. This place has a great back-story (if you believe it). What it lacks now that it used to have (this is not my first visit) is good service. My wife loved her crab melt. My ceviche... More

The Miramar has a great patio for summer and spring months...and fall, if you can sit with a heat lamp. The service is good and the food was good, as well. They have beers and wine and some good seafood dishes. The fried calamari was really very well done--meaning it was fine!

Our family has been coming to Miramar for years and have never been disappointed. Our time of year to visit is crab season. This was a family affair for the holiday season. We were a table of 12. We started with our usual for brunch. Bloody Mary! Before you get too macho and ask for them to be spicy be... More

As a small group of regular customers, we decided to go early on Monday Jan.2 for a little celebration and wanted small dishes - the bar menu being perfect. Called to make reservation for the small room and asked if bar menu in effect -- yes, was the answer. Upon arrival, the bartender/waiter told us bar and happy hour not... More

The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side.
