I am from AZ, so I know Mexican food. I will definitely be back for their tacos. The salsas looked wonderful and it was really relaxed.

Good Mexican food, big menu with lots of choices. Friendly, helpful staff. Local Spanish speaking folks show it's good Mex. Good value, moderate prices.

As we walked in, the smell of fish was very strong, maybe because the long table in the middle had not been cleaned up. There were other tables unclean and remained that way the whole time were there. The food was ok. but it makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is if they don't even clean the tables. Service... I stayed in Goleta for 5 nights to join my nephew in the Michael Jordan Flight School and ate twice in this laid-back taco joint, everything tasted great !!, I lived in Mexico for a year and the flavor was almost the same. After 9:00 pm they open up a taco stand for $2 a taco and they have a... More

Inexpensive and good. I really liked the gordita. Seem to be house made tortillas and they are thick. Informal sit down place with beer and wine bar.

This place has the best Mexican food, for a great value. I live in Colorado. To my surprise, the Mexican food is fAirly grim here. So, whenever I'm in Goleta, I'll eat dinner here at least one night. The food is well prepared and full of flavor. The staff is super friendly. I've never been here when it's busy (probably... More

This is not your prettied-up faux-Mexican yuppified bar and grill. One hears very little English spoken by the customers. But the food is well-prepared, the recipes authentic (with the substitution of vegetable oil for lard), the prices right, the service friendly. On a nice day you can sit at one of the two tables on a porch out in front.... More

From http://Wakeandwander.com: The night before I disappeared into the woods for a couple days, my friends and I decided to go out for a meal - to celebrate various things - and we wanted a casual place where we could push back our chairs a little bit, get our fill, and throw back a few drinks. Mexican won out over... More
