Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. A lovely patio in the sun but it has been taken over by wasps during the day. The food is mostly good, the breakfast excellent. The service is excellent. When tea is ordered, you don't receive a tea bag in a mug but a teapot with tea steeping in it, a small delicate... More

We were at the Bacara Resort for a family wedding. The Bistro was the main non-wedding dining spot. It's near the pool and has a great patio with ocean view. Patio is heated and an early breakfast on the patio was cozy! The food is good, I only ordered one thing that I didn't like. It was a grilled cheese... More

Always a pleasure to grab a cocktail in this bar! There are servers as well as bartenders to make sure all of the guests are taken care of, plenty of seating and a nice circular layout.

Stopping in for appetizers and a drink, while waiting for a very late dinner reservation, the Bacara bar did not disappoint! It was dark, so I can't really speak to the view... but the bar itself is beautiful. I ordered an excellent (although expensive) glass of cabernet, while my husband had a martini. We shared the cheese board appetizer, which... More

We had a wonderful breakfast and lunch on two separate days at the Bistro, one of the few dining options at Bacara. The food is good, and the view is amazing! Our service staff were very attentive and able to accommodate my special request to modify one of the breakfast items (eggs benedict with spinach, yum!) I would definitely visit... More

Fire pits with sofas on the terrace of the main building. Seize one early and keep it. Gets crowded fast and you may have to share. Four can hold the space. Bar food available. Just lovely.

The Bistro is the primary choice for dining at Bacara. Interesting fare, but it's the setting that one remembers.

We give the hostess an A+, their waitstaff a C-, their prices a D, and their food a B+. The burgers are great as is breakfast. It's a good walk from some of the buildings.

I'd drive out to Santa Barbara or eat at the main restaurant at the hotel. While the view is nice, the food is ok, and the service awful.

This restaurant is a great addition to the hotel. Every meal we had here was outstanding. The chocolate cake was out of this world (and large, you can definitely share it). I loved their breakfast buffet. It wasn't the typical greasy spoon buffet. It had lots of fresh fruit, omelette bar, bagels with lox, pastries and so much more. I... More
