For some well made traditional Cuban dishes, Mambo's is our favorite local place. The breaded filet, white rice, black bean, and fried plantain combo is out family's favorite and a monthly ritual. This is not a fancy restaurant, but does feel like a small neighborhood food and music join. Dig all the photos of famous jazz musicians.

I was stuck in traffic in-front of this restaurant, and it smelled so good that I had to stop! I remembered seeing in on DDD too! The pork was fantastic! Next time I am in the area I will go again! Very casual and friendly staff! You should check it out!

I saw this place on Dines - Drive ins - Dives (TV). I thought I'd give it a shot. I love Cuban food and so does my daughter. So we decided to have lunch at Mambos. We both ordered the potato balls and the Ropa Vieja dish. The potato balls were pretty good. The ropa viejo was alright. The rice... More

Every time I visit family in Glendale I make it a point to get lunch at Mambo's. I had lunch there on the 26th, and as usual was not disappointed. My Cuban sandwich was perfect, service was was good during busy lunch hour. Two sandwiches with fries or other side and two drinks, get the iced coffee, will set you... More

This restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Glendale. Definitely one of the BEST Cuban restaurants in the United States and I grew up near Miami. There is a wait sometimes because of their great food. Has a jazz flair with great authentic cuban food and the owners are Miami Dolphin's fans. I always eat here a few... More

Came here for a Mother/Daughter lunch date and started with the 2 Papas rellano for appetizers which seemed a bit bland. I ordered the media noche sandwich while my mom ordered the pan con lechon. Sadly the Pan con lechon was dry so we asked for mayo to add to the sandwich. The media noche was decent but I really... More

The smell was enticing, we decided to stop. Former experiences with Cuban food have been not so pleasant and very greasy. This place was not greasy, the veggies were fresh, the bread soft and freshly baked. We each had something different and all thoroughly enjoyed. Kind of fun that it is in what was probably and old gas station/mechanics work... More

I personally like the "after hours" when all lunch regulars are gone ... best time of the day for ROAST PORK and PICADILLO ... my favorites ... and don't be shy ... there's some good Mexican and European beers ...

Tried them for the first time today and loved it! The pork and Cuban fried rice was fantastic! Live jams on Thursday evenings! Can't wait to go back... gonna work my way thru the entire menu... beer and wine choices are excellent to complement their wonderful food and great service!

I tried this restaurant after seeing it featured on DDD. I tried the shrimps Al Ajillo and I can't say that it was anything special. The staff were really friendly on the other hand.
