Crowded, popular with locals, festive decor, good margaritas, lots of fun ... and, oh yes, good Mexican food. This is one of our favorite places to eat when we're in the Mendocino/Ft. Bragg area.

Sitting in the restaurant now, waiting for my red snapper fillet with rice for $16.95 and sipping a silver level margarita (I.e. the simplest one). Great red and green salsas, just interesting flavors instead of the usual vinegar, and just chunky enough to chew; very...More

After waiting 30 minutes sipping Margaritas on the patio, the four of us were seated in the corner of the dining room and promptly forgotten. Finally had to go ask the hostess for some water to accompany the dry chips and salsa served initially. Our...More

Came here with family who live in the area based on their recommendation. The food was pretty good. Had a shredded beef burrito and chicken chimi.

Surrounded by hundreds of pieces of memorabilia from Mexico in this cosy spot you really want to love the food. Our waitress was just great. We had tacos with green chile pork (surprisingly hard shell) tostadas with beef, chili rellenos and a side of rice...More

The hostess and waitress were very nice and gracious. But the food was just fair. The quesadilla was a tortilla with melted cheese on top, similar to what one of the kids would make in the toaster oven. The pinto beans were flavorless and the...More

This has been our go to place for years. Closed Sunday / Monday, but open for dinner the rest of the week. The Opopo (sp?) salad is the best ever. I can't seem to order anything else. Husband likes the combo plates, which is a...More

We stopped in for a night cap. The bar is small but friendly. The margaritas good. We have camped nearby many times and always wondered about the restaurant given the convenience of the location. Looking forward to going back and trying the food. Warning cash...More
