I decided to try the Encinitas Souplantation for the first time and to be honest I did not like as much as the Carlsbad location. It just seemed fresher and cleaner. But they did have a really yummy lava cake.

We enjoy eating at a souplantation. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the salad bar is always a hit. We went with our son and daughter-in-law and our four grandchildren, so it's a great place for families to eat at a reasonable price.

Here's a place set up perfectly for little guys to get around and eat things they love. The cafeteria style lets them see what they are choosing, always useful with picky toddlers.

By recently expanding the seating area, this restaurant takes the pressure off of finding a place to eat. The food is good, the soups can be bland. There are two registers for payment but only one person moving back and forth between them.
