These are mediocre burgers at best. There were few customers on the premises when I visited but still I had to wait an inordinate amount of time to order. The burger was cooked to order but it just wasn't worth the wait or the price. Neither were the fries. The slow moving four employees made McDonald's look like a paragon... More

This Nation's Giant Hamburger location has been renovated. So the interior is clean and pleasant. There is plenty of parking on the premises. The burgers, fries, shakes and breakfast combos are tasty, healthy portion sizes and a good value.

This is the one spot I can always rely on if I need a great tasting burger with plenty of the fixings. The pies are super delicious. Step in to the Nation experience. Not the cheapest burgers around, but decent prices being in the bay area. Amble seating area for small groups

Better than most fast food hamburger joints. They are known for their pies, but we did not have as burger and fries were more than enough. You do pay a bit more here, but quality over quantity is our method of judgment.

I love to go here every so often for their bacon cheese hamburger. Yummers. Get it with lettuce and tomato and a side of fries. "to die for"! If you have any room left, don't miss out on a piece of their famous pies. Strawberry cream is my favorite after the pecan pie. And... they serve a mean breakfast also.

Nation's is, of course, a chain, and there are probably five of them along the extent of San Pablo Avenue. But this one on Central Avenue is a good solid visit, and offers breakfast, lunch, or dinner on YOUR scale, from epic to moderate. The three-egger breakfast is vast with your choice of meats and eggs as you order them;... More

The hamburgers are a little above average, but the pies are great; crowd gets a little sketchy late night weekends sometimes as groups of people congregate.

After all these years you can still get the same food consistently good and comforting. I rate it excellent because it is dependable not trendy or trying to be ay courant.

This is THE place for a fresh, hot breakfast. The staff cooks right in front of you and to order. Nothing fancy but comfortable and clean. Great coffee (unlimited).

Nothing like ringing in the New Year with a gigantic bacon cheeseburger. It was fantastic as were the fries and thick chocolate shake. I'm sure I started out 2015 with an excessive amount of calories but it was totally worth it!
