Great use of space that was wasted. Fires blankets surf movies and waves below. Congrats to Ritz for making such a cool space. Food is just average and expensive but worth it for the setting. Very cool spot

The service is always top notch and the food is very good. Most of all we come for the view! Ask for Dean

The best way to enjoy a meal would be to eat outside . The breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean alone is enough reason to keep coming back. The food though didn't leave up to our expectations.

I was part of a large conference and attended several events at the Raya. The food was delicious and the views of the beach and coast line were superlative. Some very good dishes included, shrimp & bacon quesadillas, lobster tacos, wild mushrooms with onions, grilled octopus and various innovative salads. Also, produced by the kitchen were superb tater tots and... More

We ate here 3 times during our stay. Once for dinner and twice for breakfast. The chorizo omelet was savory with just the right amount of spice. I would definitely recommend it. My lobster salad for dinner was good but lacked creativity. It had a small amount of lobster on top of a pile of baby spinach with an okay... More

We had lunch to celebrate my mom's birthday. The setting is nice with a beautiful beach background, but that was the climax and things went downhill from there. First, the service staff weren't overly friendly nor attentive. We tried the lobster tacos and tuna ceviche as appetizers, and they were very mediocre. Tuna ceviche was more like poke, and not... I ate here everyday of my three day stay. I really liked the salmon eggs Benedict. Also, the California omelette. The view from the restaurant from of the Pacific Ocean were absolutely amazing. Obviously, pricing is not cheap, but all hotel restaurant food is expensive. We also loved the fresh carrot juice. It tastes a lot better than it sounds.

Raya is the main restaurant in the Ritz Carlton. Even though it is a hotel restaurant, I expected it to be good since it was in the Ritz. I went for lunch one day and breakfast another day. I ordered the burger and it was not good. The truffle fries had a strange odor and taste. For breakfast, I ordered... More

We ate at Raya twice, once for dinner and then breakfast our last day. Dinner was excellent. Actually enjoyed my steak here more than enoSteak. But the real highlight was the huevos rancheros. Huge portion with a perfectly cooked egg, spicy pulled pork, scrumptious guacamole and two kinds of salsa that actually managed to be worth the $26 price.
